This is what I’ve noticed with more introverted/conservative friends as well. They were simply never asked out. I’m 39.
The stories I hear from my boomer parents are like night/day to us. My dad in particular made it sound like he asked anything with legs out.

I’m in a lot of Reformed Singles groups. The largest has about 1,100 members. Every year, I poll how often women have been asked out. These are extremely conservative women, who go to church each Sunday and want to be SAHMs. They are the real tradwife supply. The vast majority are never asked out.

I've said it before:
If Dems gave up their abhorrent and morally indefensible attachment to abortion and homosexuality, I'd likely be a normal Democrat.
I like unions, environmental protections, tastefully unkempt lawns, Cab Franc, oysters, train transit.. etc. But I'm just not ever going to go the other way on the teachings of the Church, ever.
If that puts me in a tense, reluctant union with the mostly wretched and uncivilized bunch that pass for "conservatives" these days, so be it, I guess. (and in a contest between the soda-swilling MAGA "People of Wal-Mart" or the botoxed suburbanite variety of conservative, flip a coin, I fit in with neither type).
Lord knows if I try to go where the liberals are at, of course I'll relish the great bulk of how they live and think -- until I inevitably hear they're "transing" their 3-year-olds and donating to Planned Parenthood.
I dream of the day when "the good life," the civilized life is once again synonymous with the pro-life, pro-family values that built Western Civilization rather than the demonic grostequeries that are now common amongst our liberals.
Until then, I'm destined to be a kind of politically homeless pariah -- Upstate NY's own analogue to Ignatius Reilly. C'est la vie...

america is one of very few countries that has even tried to build a multiethnic democracy at scale, & the fact that it has a visible, loud, ongoing discourse about racism is actually evidence of relatively low tolerance for it compared to countries where racial hierarchy is just... ambient & unremarked upon.
japan (lol very obvious now), korea, much of europe, india's caste system, han chauvinism in china, ethnic dynamics across the gulf states.. most of these societies don't even have the vocabulary for the conversation america tortures itself over daily.
america is quite literally is one of the least if not the least racist countries on the planet, & it's not even close.

🚨 WATCH: I told my Democrat colleagues the truth about abortion— how half of abortions in Ohio last year were performed on black women and how an estimated 20 million black babies have been killed in the womb since Roe v. Wade.
They hated hearing the truth so much that they ridiculously accused me of violating "all the rules" of the Ohio House.
