🚨 Good news from Austria. 🇦🇹
The Austrian Ministry (BMK – Bundesministerium für Innovation, Mobilität und Infrastruktur) has replied to a Tesla owner regarding Tesla FSD Supervised.
Key takeaways from their official letter (April 2026):
✅ They fully recognize the Dutch RDW approval under Article 39 of EU Regulation 2018/858.
✅ They clearly explain the upcoming EU procedure (TCMV vote expected in May/June).
✅ They explicitly keep the door open for a quick national recognition of the Dutch approval, without having to wait for full EU-wide approval.
✅ No objections or safety concerns raised. The tone is professional, constructive and positive.
This is one of the most open and helpful responses we’ve seen from any EU country so far. Austria could be among the early adopters via national recognition. 🇦🇹🔥🧿

Update regarding my Tesla case:
I’m happy to share that thanks to the incredible support, engagement, shares, comments, and messages from so many people here - my case finally moved forward.
Shortly after the post gained attention, I received a phone call from the manager of the service center in Warsaw, who informed me that the posts had reached people within Tesla. Soon after that, the missing passenger airbag was sent, the repair was completed, and I was finally able to collect my Tesla last week.
After many months of waiting, uncertainty, and frustration, I finally have my car back.
I truly want to thank everyone who helped by sharing the post, commenting, tagging people, sending supportive messages, and simply showing interest in the situation. Your engagement genuinely made a difference.

Tesla alone sold 117,300 EVs in the US — more than ALL other EV makers combined (99,099). GM + Hyundai + Toyota + Rivian + Ford + Lucid + BMW + VW + everyone else… still couldn’t beat Tesla’s single-quarter numbers. Tesla outsold the entire rest of the industry by over 18,000 vehicles.

@PeterKreinerjun @EFIEBER_ANDRE Tesla hat das ja schon vor Jahren angeboten, aber niemand wollte es. Mercedes und BMW haben sogar versucht, ihre eigenen Systeme zu entwickeln, bis sie letztlich das Handtuch geworfen haben.
FSD jetzt zu lizensieren würde die legacy OEMs Jahre kosten, ob sie das überleben...
