𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝘂𝗸𝗶 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀?? This question is growing louder with every passing hour, yet there is silence from those in power. Families are living in fear and uncertainty while innocent lives remain unaccounted for. How long will the government remain passive? Why has there been no decisive action to secure their safe return? We strongly urge the Government of India, the Government of Manipur, and all security agencies to immediately locate and rescue the remaining hostages before the situation worsens further. The safety and lives of citizens cannot be treated as secondary. We also appeal to #Tangkhul/#ManipurNaga civil society organisations and all involved groups to act with humanity and conscience. The continued detention of hostages only deepens wounds and pushes communities further away from peace and reconciliation. Enough silence. Enough delay. Taphou Kuki Woman Appeal for Safe Release of Abducted Villagers Kangpokpi, 14 May 2026: — Taphou Kuki woman has made an urgent appeal for the safe and immediate release of villagers reportedly abducted in Senapati amid rising tension in the area. Expressing deep concern over the incident, the woman said innocent civilians should not be targeted under any circumstances and urged those responsible to ensure the abducted villagers return home safely and unharmed. The women also appealed to civil society organisations, community leaders, and authorities to intervene immediately to prevent further escalation and safeguard the lives of civilians. According to an urgent FIR request filed with police, More than 25 Kuki Villagers, 8 Vehicles Detained in Senapati After Pastors’ ambush and Killed between Kotzim and Kotlen. Taphou Kuki Village Chairman Lenkhomang Chongloi stated that around 1:30 pm, 7 trucks and 1 Alto car carrying villagers returning from work were “arrested and detained” at Senapati Petrol Pump, Rikhumai Taphou. The incident also occurred near Mt. Everest College gate, Phyamai Taphou.
