🚨 ₹60,000 bribe + ₹25,108 official fees for e-Khatha in Doddathoguru. Still can’t pay current property tax. • ₹30,000 cash • ₹30,000 UPI → Total bribe: ₹60,000 Official payments: • ₹24,008 Property tax • ₹1,000 Khatha transfer • ₹100 Khatha extract System took every rupee. Now: ❌ PID not mapped ❌ Online payment blocked Panchayat excuses: Day 1: “Server down” Day 2: “Server still down” Today: “Staff gone for census. Come Monday.” The system works flawlessly for bribes and collecting taxes. It completely fails for basic service. This isn’t delay. It’s designed dependency. Simple questions: • Why issue e-Khatha without mapping PID? • Why collect tax if the system can’t support it? • Why is the only solution “come again”? Basic fixes needed: • Map PID before issuing e-Khatha • Make online tax payment reliable • Provide real fallback, not repeated visits • Clear ownership: BBMP or Panchayat Doddathoguru doesn’t need announcements. It needs systems that work. Pandit Ji's initiative is highly commendable; if people could spare just one hour every day to raise awareness about civic sense among others, society would transform.

The world's largest nuclear power plant was supposed to come up in Jaitapur, Maharashtra. But a few parties blocked it citing local opposition and environmental concerns. From Nanar to Barsu to Jaitapur, we have ensured that Konkan shall not see good employment opportunities.

"Railway staff beat a disabled man." 😡 In a tragic incident, a disabled man was physically thrshed by Vande Bharat catering staff at Lucknow's Charbagh station. So pathetic. He must be arrested without any delay. There is no safety on trains.

India could be a great place to do business. But middlemen destroy the whole vibe. A director of a major OEM, called us personally. He’d heard excellent feedback on us from the market and was excited to collaborate. We were pumped. Then the Purchase Manager jumped in. He asked for prices. We told him our price (even shared BOM). He laughs and says he gets it at 30% cheaper. Which is complete bullshit. Cut to a few days later: A third party called and advised us to keep 5% commission for this purchase manager Deal died right there. Our respect fell. Enthusiasm faded. And we decided to let go of this one. Because a 'NO' deal is better than a bad deal.

IT TAKES A LOT TO BE REVATHI…!!! While the whole country is celebrating the landmark judgement of death penalty for the NINE policemen in the Santhanakulam custodial torture and murder of Jeyaraj and Bennix, you should know about Revathi. Revathi was a constable in Santhanakulam police station in 2020 when the gruesome incident took place. She was the key witness and the sole reason for all the arrogant officers getting punished today. The police men involved in the brutality were all big men, Revathi was a small time constable. But she stood unperturbed. When Magistrate Bharathidasan, who initially investigated this case, arrived at the Santhanakulam police station he had no clue that constable Revathi will help close the case. "Sir, I will tell you everything, every detail, the truth that is being hidden. But I am the mother of two young girls... can you guarantee the safety of my children and my job?", she had asked the magistrate. Revathi was on night duty when the cruel incident took place. She witnessed the brutality being inflicted on Jeyaraj and Bennix and narrated every single detail. She told how SI Balakrishnan, inspector Sridhar and SI Ragukanes, kept beating the father and son with whatever they found, and how they also stomped on their private parts with their shoes. She remembered their screams. She saw how the officers took pause only to sip alcohol while the victims withered in pain. When the father and son were semi-conscious, unable to bear it, Revathi asked Jayaraj if he needed anything. She gave him coffee which the officials spilt it immediately. Revathi couldn’t stand the brutality but being a woman constable there was only so much she could do. She then offered water to the victims. The so called policemen then stripped Bennix naked, tied his hands and legs separately, and beat him up. They did the same to Jeyaraj. Revathi couldn’t bear the pain of their screams, she left the place. According to the postmortem report, their entire back was skinned, iron rods were inserted and they bled from their rectums. When the case was being discussed by the media, when even the CM of Tamil Nadu tried to brush it away, Revathi knew the truth. The police officials, cleaned up the station of any DNA evidences, erased the CCTV footage and warned everyone to shut-up and not try to become heroes. But Revathi didn’t just narrate the entire ordeal in exact detail…she even helped the investigating officials obtain other crucial information. Despite everything being cleaned, Revathi gathered DNA of the victims in crevices of the walls and floors, on furniture and other objects. She was questioned, threatened, intimidated, bribed and even abused. She stood by justice. She had to go against her colleagues for justice of comman man. In the time when police force is often looked upon with reasonable suspicion, there are people in uniform like Revathi. Today court could pronounce death sentence to nine police officers - only because one woman decided she will stand by truth! Kudos to Revathi, an amazing woman and an absolutely fabulous police officer. The world is a better place because of her courage. Salute ma’am 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Nashik Thousands of trees are being felled in Nashik. This is in direct contravention to the will of the people. No processes are being followed. Activists or identified voices for trees have been marked by the police and either apprehended, put away or under house arrest. The orders or motions made by courts so far are all hanging fire. Nothings being followed. A laundry list of permissions. Over 200 encompassing thousands of trees 🌳 have been executed by the administration. No Notices issued No Advertisements No Objections invited No Hearings Just fell orders… Direct Action against helpless sentinels standing guard over Nashik since centuries. In a time when natural capital is the only go to, to protect us from vagaries of the weather. We have this. Watch and Weep as they reduce to rubble what took millenia to fruit and flower. India’s National Tree 🌳👇🏽

Is your hospital playing games with you? An unconscious patient billed for 52 litres of mineral water. A routine gallbladder surgery that cost nearly double the estimate. Two children who died of dengue, each billed ₹16 lakh, with consumables marked up 1,700%. These aren't anomalies. They are the system and its red flags. In this video, Abantika Ghosh pulls back the curtain on how, in many hospitals, billing has turned into a profit engine where management teams track every piece of equipment used in your surgery to maximise the invoice, where doctors have lost the discretion to protect you even if they want to, where the word "cancer" is deployed like a weapon to shut down questions, and where being insured is not a safety net but a signal to charge more. It's a warning sign for the red flags you need to watch out for. If you have encountered similar horror stories, let us know in the comments section.

They’re cutting down 250 year old banyan trees in Nashik for the upcoming Kumbh Mela. I want development in my city, but it honestly hurts to see trees that have stood for generations being cut down. There are many ways to deal with such issues, but this just feels wrong💔

I spoke to Retired Subedar Shyam Kishor Agnihotri - father of Major Gaurav Agnihotri, Ex-Husband of Praneeta, daughter of Retired Judge Gyanendra Sharma who has been in news for grand welcome of his daughter post divorce This is what Shyam Kishore Ji told me - Our family has been subjected to immense ridicule by this social media spectacle. We are in tears listening to the lies being spread against us. It was Praneeta and her family who dominated us throughout this marriage. We treated her like a daughter but they had some different plans. This marriage was totally without dowry & differences started from the day of marriage itself. They wanted everything their way. Within a year of marriage they filed a false case against all of us and Gyanendra Sharma used to threaten all of us of sending us behind bars. They got a fake medical certificate made in 25000 rupees. My son then wrote to Chief Justice of Uttarakhand after which an inquiry was initiated and when it was found that Mr. Sharma has misused his powers, he was asked to either resign or settle this matter. When he saw things are going against him Praneeta came back. Whenever we used to visit our son, she fought with us and did not want us around. I still adjusted with everything thinking of my son's future. Amidst all this, Praneeta's brother was hospitalised after an accident. My son stayed in the hospital for days taking care of him but these people have no regard. He expired later. Last year, Praneeta gave birth to a son. We were all so happy. But the day our grandson was born, Praneeta's mother started claiming her son has come back. We could hardly be with our grandson. Then one day they declared that they're doing mundan of the child and we complained that it is our right to get that done at his paternal family. They started fighting and immediately asked for Divorce. My son did not want a divorce but we were also tired. So we agreed. They're claiming they haven't taken maintenance or alimony. I transferred 3 bighas of my land in my daughter-in-law's name. They have kept car of my son. Our jewellery worth 55-60 lacs is with her. We never refused to give maintenance. They have taken divorce because they don't want us to have any presence in the life of our grandson. They have cut us off completely. My son was told to agree for divorce forgetting even visitation rights. We agreed to their demands thinking if this brings peace then let it be - but we were wrong to have trusted them. They have violated the consent terms of the mutual consent divorce and my family is being shamed all over India now. My wife can't stop crying because of this humiliation. My son doesn't know how to deal with his photos and his unit details being spread all over social media.

₹13 lakh for this basketball court in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. 🤢 They just poured concrete, leveled it and showed it as a ₹13 lakh project. No proper base, no acrylic surface, no finishing. Last year in India, two children died within 48 hours after basketball poles collapsed due to poor construction and maintenance. This is what corruption and negligence look like. Not just wasted money, it costs lives.

A student paid fees to Physics Wallah for a course. The services were never delivered as promised. Physics Wallah refused to refund. Said fees were non-refundable. Standard clause. Page 12 of the terms. The student went to the J&K Consumer Commission. The court said: retaining fees without rendering services is not a business policy. It is an unfair trade practice. Physics Wallah ordered to refund ₹35,000 in full. Plus pay compensation. The company had a "non-refundable" clause. The court said the clause itself was illegal. Every coaching institute, every online course platform, every skill program in India uses this clause. All of them are wrong. Save this post. Under the Consumer Protection Act, a non-refundable fee clause is unenforceable if the service wasn't delivered. You can fight it. And you will win.
