Sadiq Khan is now going after SUV owners, ordering an investigation on the wear and tear effect SUVs have on road surfaces. People do not need SUVs in London, but I’d suggest that, rather than SUV’s, he needs to look into the wear EV’s, with their excessive weight, cause. But then he’d be coming up with a new Wear & Tear charge for EVs wouldn’t he, and he’s not going to do that. So he blames SUVs instead.
