There are mutuals I've engaged with almost daily for years and at some point, very suddenly, we all became essentially invisible to each other.
Then there's the issue of accounts being stolen by scammers. Unless you have a huge following, you're SOL as whatever passes for customer support is apparently a concierge service offered only to the top 1%.

It isn't even entertaining trolling. It's just fake Americans who barely speak English barfing up the same retarded scripts over and over. AI would probably be more entertaining. And blocking them is meaningless because here comes sixty more.
For a brief shining moment X was the place to get uncensored info fast. Now that's buried in endless dogshit. When you find accounts you do trust, there's no longer any real viable discussion or back and forth on those posts because the comments are overwhelmed by fake trash trying to shame and browbeat everyone into line.
I don't know what they need to do, but they need to do something.

To not go through with not paying foreign slop accounts that obsessively post about American politics would only mean the further degradation of user experience on here. Rug pulling Nikita because Rajesh from West Asia is mad that his 60 BarronTrumpNews accounts won’t get paid for posting “do you agree? Drop a 👍🏻 in the comments” is not cool. The goal should be to ensure a quality user experience, not making sure Vladimir gets paid for paid for injecting chaos into American politics. Just nuke the entire monetization program if you have to and allow subscriptions only. Yeah they are some good foriegn accounts that will be impacted by this but the vast majority are slop accounts abusing the monetization program.

I am an unabashed Disney Parks lover, but even I have had to admit the parks are kind of a mess. There’s only so much nostalgia I have for, say, EPCOT, and at some point, the price just isn’t worth it anymore, especially when everything is an additional cost, and to maximize your stay, you need an actual degree in planning or hired help.
But that’s just the *American* parks. Our plan, for next time, is to take a family trip to Japan and go to the parks there. The cost is the same. I’ve also heard really exceptional things about Disney cruises.

@RobGeorge This is the thing: Disney Parks are, maybe, in a sneakily large amount of trouble because they’re losing the next generation due to ticket prices, lack of interest, etc. It’s a similar problem with movie theaters but papered over by all the Disney Adults still coming to parks.

I was today years old when I learned: 'Vape products are FDA approved'???? I wouldn't consider ANY vape product to be safe for human consumption unless it is a 'medicine'/prescription. @smod4real Agreed. I've avoided most of the pitfalls of middle age, and baby mama is still quite young. My biggest concern is making sure the at-home dynamic doesn't frustrate the baby when she's in high school and I'm at least semi-retired.

True story… I filled up my daughter’s Outback at the local gas station before she hit the road back to school.
A dear, middle-aged lesbian struck up some automotive chit-chat with me, and we bonded over our Subarus. Apparently, it’s very important that we only fill our tanks with “top-tier” detergent gasoline—a fact clearly known by all mature lesbians.
The fuel nozzle clicked, signaling that our conversation would soon end. I bid the nice lady and her short, graying hair a fond farewell, then slid into the Outback’s comfortable driver’s seat and made my way home.
It wasn’t long before I realized that, for those few minutes of pumping fuel, I too was a lesbian—if only briefly.
