For only the 2nd time in its history, the Red Cross has declared a national blood crisis. Patients may already be impacted. Blood donations have fallen to a 4-year summer low. Donors, especially those with type O blood, are needed ASAP to help save lives: rcblood.org/donate





A broad tropical low will meander around in the Gulf for the next few days; NHC gives it a 30 percent chance of development with an unfavorable upper air pattern. This feature could bring elevated coverage of scattered showers/storms to the Florida Gulf Coast over the next few days, but no wash-out.
