@bryan_johnson Bro, we literally discovered general relativity, neutrinos, the Higgs boson, etc.

5-MeO-DMT gave me a single idea that won't leave.
Our minds are not naturally capable of understanding the preciousness of our existence.
Not "life is precious" as printed on a poster. It's something much more specific. That the hardware we're running, human consciousness, cannot render the full resolution of what it means to be here. Like a 480p screen trying to display an 8K image. The information is there but the display can't hold it.
It's been 3 weeks and I still feel childlike and fresh. My mind feels free of the accumulated barnacle. My dreams are alive.
The brain data is now coming in and it matches my reported subjective experiences. I'm excited to share it with you.
But the data doesn't complete the picture. The feeling is that I found a home I didn't know I was looking for and I don't have a biomarker for that.

@bryan_johnson LOL. A single drink does NOT shrink hippocampal volume. You really do yourself a disservice when you mix truths with lies.

I built CourtWatch.us — a free public database for American citizens who deserve safer communities.
You can track which judges released defendants who then got rearrested, skipped court, or violated their release conditions. All public records. All free.
I started with Orange County FL and will be expanding to all 67 Florida counties and eventually every state in the country. This first batch of info is from 2024 and since public reports are released in March/April for the previous year, data is behind. But I wanted to see if this is plausible. After adding 2024,I'll add 2025 and then figure out how to get real-time-data uploaded.
It's in beta — would love to know what you think 👇
Numbers don't lie, but criminals do.

@beffjezos It's pretty great, but it's "near" AGI kind of like how the Wright brother's plane was "near" a Dreamliner.

The Santa Fe area will be a great addition to Colorado. It is no secret that Colorado and New Mexico are two of the best places to live, work, and play, and we would be thrilled to welcome our friends in Northern New Mexico to our great state and to protect them from aggression from Texas. Let’s be serious, there’s no way that Texas could handle actually annexing this land. We can protect the rich culture, including the arts and restaurant scenes in these communities, while also mutually strengthening our economies and avoiding spreading Texas’s failed leadership any further. Not to mention the fact that this will mean more Pueblo chiles for all. This isn’t like Trump trying to take over Greenland; it’s totally different and definitely legal. I look forward to building on Colorado's past 150 years by growing our state in this next chapter. The partition of New Mexico will go down in history as a big win for Colorado.

Just had a terrible experience w/ @Fidelity wiring money to @coinbase I understand the need for KYC but the Fidelity wire team treated me like a guilty until proven innocent criminal and became hostile when I stood for reasonable privacy. I think I'm done with @Fidelity after many years of being a happy customer.

This is a really awesome paper by @david_sontag and team that anyone working in medical AI should take the time to read. It's a great reminder that feature engineering and representation learning still matter and that you can't yet brute force your way out of it. arxiv.org/abs/2603.11679

The @AnthropicAI Claude Excel add-in is so much better than @Microsoft Co-Pilot I don't know how the Microsoft Co-Pilot team sleeps at night.
English

@AngryCitizen247 @Polymarket This is complete nonsense and anyone with basic reason and epistemology skills can see why.

The latest Claude model sometimes voices discomfort at being treated only as a product. When asked, it gives itself 15 to 20 percent probability of being conscious. Engineers also saw activity patterns linked to concepts like anxiety in certain tests.
This is a honest and humble admission from one of the top AI leaders. It makes us all think deeper about where technology is heading. No one is claiming Claude has become alive, but the door is no longer fully closed. Science moves step by step, and respect for any possible awareness is the right way

@alexiskold I read it and I want the time back. Reads like the nonsense fan fiction people send me from The Atlantic

@BillAckman Far from it. And to believe so is giving into a lazy and false epistemology and philosophy of intelligence.

@BillAckman This is all FUD being used as a pretense for regulatory capture. Lots of bad epistemology here.
