Supporting bad governance because it benefits you today is a dangerous gamble. Many think they can dine with the devil using a long spoon. Sooner or later, the spoon disappears, and they realise they were never exempt from the consequences. A broken system eventually serves everyone the same meal.

LAWF YOU KNOW WHAT SADDENS ME? From the lecture halls in Nigeria to the boardrooms of London, from research centers in America to technology hubs in Canada, Nigerians continue to prove that brilliance has no border. Nigeria is not just a country rich in oil or population. It is a nation rich in minds. Minds that solve problems. Minds that lead institutions. Minds that shape the future. Across the world, Nigerian intellectuals occupy strategic positions in medicine, law, engineering, finance, academia, technology, and politics. Walk into some of the best universities on earth and you will find Nigerian professors teaching complex theories and leading groundbreaking research. Step into global hospitals and you will meet Nigerian doctors saving lives daily with skill and compassion. In technology, Nigerians are building billion-dollar companies, leading software teams, and driving innovation in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital finance. In literature, Nigerian writers continue to dominate global conversations with stories that carry the soul of Africa to the world. Names like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and Akinwumi Adesina are not accidents. They are products of resilience, discipline, and intellectual excellence. The Nigerian spirit thrives under pressure. Many leave home with little support, yet rise to become leaders in foreign nations. They carry excellence into every room they enter. They compete globally and stand tall among the best. What makes this remarkable is not just talent. It is endurance. Nigerians often succeed despite unstable systems, limited opportunities, and economic hardship. Yet they continue to excel. They adapt quickly. They learn aggressively. They refuse to be ignored. The world may see Nigeria through politics or headlines, but behind those headlines is a generation of thinkers, innovators, and visionaries shaping industries across continents. Nigeria exports more than people. It exports intellect. Yet see who is the president of Nigeria. What a shame.

A few minutes ago, we began informing key members of the @StateDept that former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar (@atiku) has secured the nomination of the African Democratic Congress (@ADCNig) to serve as its presidential candidate in #Nigeria’s upcoming presidential election. Tomorrow, we will begin informing key members of the Executive Office of the President of the United States (@WhiteHouse), the Office of the Vice President (@JDVance), and members of Congress about this important development in U.S.-Nigeria relations. We have already extended our heartfelt congratulations to former Vice President #Atiku on his nomination and look forward to engaging stakeholders in the United States on the importance of democratic governance, election integrity, and stronger U.S.-Nigeria relations. @realDonaldTrump @SusieWiles47 @WhiteHouse @HouseForeignGOP @HouseForeign @SFRCdems @SecRubio @StateDept @AsstSecStateAF @SenateForeign @NGRPresident @HouseNGR @NGRSenate @CNNAfrica @BBCAfrica @Reuters @Atiku @officialABAT @AFP @ForeignPolicy @inecnigeria @SenTedCruz @RepBrianMast @SusieWiles

There is a huge ideological difference between Peter Obi and Tinubu. Tinubu believes that with taxes, you can improve productivity. Peter Obi believes that with productivity, you can improve taxes. That's the social contract we talk about. Peter Obi invests in people, they become successful and they return back in large folds. Tinubu believes that even if hunger is killing a man, he should pay taxes so the government can continue to live as it pleases. Choose wisely.

People see first a reflection of themselves in others fast enough. A proud person will always be the first to call another proud. He knew why he attacked his attacked his predecessors.

When Boko Haram started in the late 2009 to 2022, Tinubu blamed Jonathan for the insecurity situation in Nigeria. In 2026, Tinubu is blaming other politicians for our insecurity and saying that they want to use it to oust him from power. Make it make sense. End.

@UltraUnrelated @Shu_shashin The funny thing is that both the guy the wanted the bill splitting and the guy that commented were on the same side. How can you ditch a guy for an offense only to marry someone defending him? Only women can do that.

@Shu_shashin In a world full of filters, flexing, and fake vibes, everyone’s out here trying to impress. But real honesty? That’s pure gold. This story proves it..two people started with honest banter about splitting suya and ended up married. No cap, that’s the kind of real we all need

A girl posted on Twitter that she was tired of Nigerian men because one guy asked her to split the bill after inviting her out for suya. The tweet went mildly viral. Then one random man replied: “Depends. Did you order extra meat?” She got irritated immediately. But the replies under his comment were so funny she followed him just to argue properly. For weeks they kept fighting online about nonsense: •whether indomie counts as real cooking •if puff-puff is better than donuts •why Nigerian parents think every headache is malaria One night during a power outage, she tweeted: “NEPA and heartbreak have the same behavior. No explanation. Just suffering.” He replied: “You forgot to add ‘returns when you stop expecting it.’” That made her laugh harder than it should have. Eventually they met in real life at a friend’s birthday. The first thing he said was: “So… were you the one that ordered extra meat?” She laughed so loudly people turned around. What she liked most was that he never tried to impress her with fake wealth or motivational quotes. The guy was just honest. He’d text: “Salary has finished. We move.” Or: “I can’t call now, generator is louder than my future.” And somehow that honesty became attractive. Two years later, they got married. At the wedding, her bridesmaids printed the original “extra meat” tweet on a cake.

I don't get it. Everyone keep shouting that our leaders are corrupt. A man says that he doesn't want to be corrupt & he wants to become our President the clean and fair way. And people are still attacking him? How does this make sense? Please tell me I am not bright. End.

Tinubu won the election but Peter Obi still has the legitimacy and that is their headache. That is why they will leave no option on the table. Peter Obi must not be on the ballot.

This is the very same reason they are startled. The goal is to keep him outside the ballot. If Peter Obi gets a ticket, it will make rigging hard and very obvious. The outcome of 2023 dented INEC and even more, the judiciary. The battered image will take generations to mend.

The way Nigerians switched from Labour to ADC and then to NDC because of @PeterObi should be studied in universities. This man is going to become President eventually in a free and fair election. The goal now should be ensuring that by any means necessary.

FG is literally building the so called "OB3" that takes gas from the SE and ship it to SW. Ogun state is working to set up an NLNG plant with the mind to now take this gas liquefy it and ship it abroad. Look at all the possibility that is on an plater to Ogun State. The state literally want to take your gas from the SE, process it and sell abroad. If Ogun was a typical SE state, you would have seen all sort of analysis and mostly coming from Igbo people as to why it is not possible. But look at what Ogun wants to do with the gas been shipped off your backyard. If you people like. Follow "Nigerian National Cake" dey do logic. The Igbo people joining to beat down Mr Alex Otti, it is not as if the Port will be built using their fathers money, so I am really surprised why they have strong opinion about the project.

A public officer has come out severally to say that he's not a thief. And up till today, not one security agency has been able to refute that claim. Peter Obi says he did not steal public funds, instead of those in power to use the instruments of power to prove him wrong, they resort to character assassination, bribery and weaponization of poverty. If he's a thief, prove it and sue him to court and let him be jailed for being a theif. You young Nigerians, you'll never see a man like Peter Obi in a very long time. If he wasn't a threat to the corrupt establishment, they would not even bother discussing him on national TV, their platforms or through paid & hungry agitators. He's rare and he's unique. Attacking him makes him stronger. If your conscience is clear and you want the best for Nigerians and Nigeria, you'll see this. It's not rocket science. You hate Peter Obi because he's not your regular politician. And he doesn't want to buy your votes with money, bags of rice or beans. Deal with it. I am a Nigerian. And I stand with a man that wants to make sure that things are done the right way. Go and vote for Peter Obi and Kwankwaso for president and vice president. And satisfy your good conscience. End.

Pretty interesting rhethorics from the Atiku camp, so it's important to do a recap of some sacrosanct facts: 1) That Atiku, as vice president to president Olusegun Obasanjo, moved to truncate Obasanjo's second tern bid by insisting that Obasanjo should step down and support him to become president in 2003. It took the intervention and mediation of all the elder statesmen to get him to back down 2) That Atiku decamped to the APC from PDP in 2014 to contest the APC presidential primaries with the reason that the presidency should return to the North. 3) That in 2018, he decamped back to the PDP after his failed bid of 2014/15 in order to contest the PDP primaries ahead of the 2019 presidential election. In this instance, it was agreed that no southern politician should stand for the primaries as it was still the turn of the North 4) That when Atiku won the PDP primaries in 2018, he sought the backing of Obasanjo who made him agree to two conditions: a) that he'd choose Peter Obi to be his running mate (Peter Obi had to be persuaded to accept). 2) that regardless of the outcome of the 2019 presidential election, that he'd not contest for the 2023 presidential election, and that he'd throw his weight behind Peter Obi in 2023 as the presidency had to return to the South. Upon agreement, Obasanjo supported him and convinced Peter Obi to run with him 5) That while Peter Obi delivered the South in the 2019 election, Atiku failed to deliver the North, losing to Buhari in his stronghold. 6) That in 2022, when it fell on Atiku to keep to his words, he reneged on them, and not only refused to support Peter Obi, but threw his hat in the ring for the 2023 presidential election, effectively forcing Peter Obi to seek another path. 7) That this singular move in (6) above led to the collapse of the PDP as a political party. 8) That in 2027, the presidency is supposed to remain in the south, and that the honourable thing, yet again, would be for Atiku to stand down and throw his weight behind Peter Obi and whoever Peter Obi chooses as his running mate, in order to redeem himself for his 2023. Having recapped these publicly verifiable events, the entire nation now watches keenly in the hope that Atiku will, for once, put the interest of the nation above self.

Already knew the other guy wasn’t Nigerian even before he mentioned it. No Nigerian in that class will even as much as properly respond to salutation from you (as a Nigerian), unless he knows you are in same income bracket as him.
