Guess who is obstructing the prosecution of the grand conspiracy probe (the ongoing grand jury investigation into alleged Obama/Biden-era weaponization of intelligence and law enforcement against Trump, centered on Russiagate/Crossfire Hurricane origins)?
The @TheJusticeDept, even under @AGPamBondi, was pedal to the metal, but @LeaderJohnThune is slow walking the fully unredacted transcripts, records, and documents from the Senate Judiciary and Intelligence Committees.
These cover Brennan's congressional testimony, briefings, and involvement in the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Russian election interference, the Steele dossier's role, and related Trump-Russia collusion claims. The deadline was February 23, 2026. The materials are for an active grand jury investigation in Fort Pierce, Florida.
It is now two months past the deadline, and the Senate has not fully complied. Prosecutors have been allowed limited access (e.g., reading one Intelligence Committee report in a secure room/SCIF), but the full transmission of records hasn't happened. This is slowing a key angle of the probe.
