Terrible decision. Terrible. “Well, you can *have* a gun, you just can’t *buy* a gun.” There is no limiting principle to this. *Any* infringement will stand as long as it’s framed as not *directly* impacting keeping or bearing. How about a law that says you can’t carry a loaded weapon? You can still bear a weapon, just not loaded. Not covered by the 2A, says the 1st circuit. And how long of a waiting period isn’t abusive? I’ve got $100 some 1st circuit state passes a 10-day law. This decision needs cert immediately.

The @FKBRNO PSD is one of the most interesting handguns in recent history, for me. The 7.5FK cartridge is amazing. I wish other companies would develop firearms for it, specifically a PCC would be great. The PSD can also chamber 10mm with a barrel and spring swap. @FederalPremium

Judges in the US operate under a doctrine called Absolute Immunity This means a judge cannot be sued for any damages for a "judicial act" even if their decision was made in error, with blatant bias, or resulted in a tragedy The reality is when a judge grants low bail or OR release to a violent repeat offender who then commits a murder, there is ZERO legal mechanism to hold that judge civilly liable for the loss of life It's wild how the justice system operates. A judge can literally burn the whole country down and not be held accountable

Yesterday I found out that Good Friday is not a statutory holiday in the US. It is in Canada 🇨🇦 Most Canadians (Quebec is different), get the day off with pay. If you do work, you get 2.5x your pay, or a paid day off. Yet another reason why I'm thankful I'm Canadian. 🇨🇦❤️

🚨UPDATE🚨 The First Circuit just set the Second Amendment back decades in Beckwith v. Frey. In a shocking move, they claimed that "purchasing or acquiring" a firearm isn't actually covered by the "plain text" of the 2nd Amendment. This BEGS for Supreme Court review.
