Bengaluru suburban rail implementing agency @KridePrm is building stations that may soon turn into ghost structures. The reason: tenders for civil works on two corridors, where station work is underway, are yet to be awarded & have been stuck since L&T exited. No tenders have been awarded for rolling stock either. Soon, Bengaluru may have suburban station buildings but no tracks or trains.

Great initiative.Many of the Metro stations in the ORR Blue line are slightly off the main cluster and it is obviously not possible to meet every need.ORR is a densely packed corridor, this will really help commuters get to their destinations on ORR and help regular pedestrians.

@mNachiketA77 @WF_Watcher It is a major step up from the shoddy patchwork happening for several years now. So definitely something to cheer about. All newly laid roads are getting lane markings also. Have seen that in most new tarred sections in East Bangalore. Fair point on drainage and handling rains.

@WF_Watcher I just want to say that we should always demand the best from our government. Footpaths and proper drainage are basic necessities. Without adequate drainage, this road will get damaged in just one rainy season.

Prashanth Layout has over 200 PGs, with 50% being illegal constructions. Stay in one PG for a week and witness the horrible road conditions. Then you’ll easily understand why we’re thrilled with the newly asphalted road, even without lane markings. It’s easy to fix in images!!

@safiulhasan @spendomic Yes. Very competitive. Also it is not a fun app. Many people I speak to say they are scared to track or look at expenses :). Seems like a psychological thing, but am confident and hope to continue building and increase the adoption slowly.
