The move for conservative audiences is externally-aimed edge.
Find the tension your audience already feels:
- the policy they hate
- the status quo they can't stand
- the truth they want said out loud
Make the stunt about that. You can be as loud, transgressive, and in-your-face as you want. The audience will back you because you're pointed at the same enemy they are.
You're not the provocation. The subject is. Amplify tension that already exists.
