Bulls as Rural Powerhouses: How 'Nandi Rath' is Turning Stray Cattle into India's Cheapest Electricity Source In the bustling farmlands near Lucknow, a former DSP has sparked a quiet revolution that could redefine self-reliance for millions of Indian farmers. Meet Shailendra Singh's groundbreaking invention: the Nandi Rath – a clever, animal-powered electricity generator that harnesses the natural strength of bulls to produce affordable, sustainable power while solving one of rural India's thorniest problems: stray cattle. Picture this: sturdy bulls calmly walking in continuous circles on a specially designed inclined ramp inside a sturdy metal structure. Their steady movement spins a high-tech gearbox and flywheel system connected to alternators, converting kinetic energy into clean electricity. No fuel, no pollution, and minimal maintenance. A single bull delivers a solid 5 kW of power per hour. Add solar panels for a hybrid boost, and output jumps to 10 kW – enough to run irrigation pumps, flour mills, lighting, and household appliances all day long. The real magic? Electricity costs farmers just around ₹1.5 per unit – a game-changing fraction of grid prices. Farmers aren't just saving money; they're turning previously "unproductive" stray bulls into revenue generators. The animals get shelter, care, and purpose, while owners gain energy independence and extra income. This isn't some lab experiment. Singh has built and tested the Nandi Rath right on his own property in Siddhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The latest model features patented gearbox technology that maximizes output with minimal effort from the bulls – they simply walk naturally, using gravity and momentum to keep the system humming efficiently. What makes Nandi Rath truly brilliant is how it tackles two massive rural challenges in one stroke. India grapples with huge numbers of stray cattle that often become a burden. At the same time, unreliable and expensive electricity holds back small farmers. Singh's invention flips both problems into opportunities: stray animals become valuable partners in energy production, empowering villages to become energy self-sufficient without depending on expensive diesel or erratic grids. This innovation feels deeply rooted in India's soul – blending ancient respect for cattle (Nandi, after all, is Lord Shiva's divine bull) with modern engineering ingenuity. It's eco-friendly, scalable, and perfectly suited for the realities of village life. Shailendra Singh's vision goes beyond one machine. With government subsidies, cooperative models, and support from agricultural universities, Nandi Rath could spread across thousands of farms, lighting up homes, boosting crop yields, and creating a new rural economy powered by compassion and creativity. In a world chasing high-tech solutions, sometimes the most powerful ideas come from the ground up – quite literally, from the steady footsteps of hardworking bulls. Nandi Rath proves that true innovation doesn't always need fancy gadgets or massive funding. It just needs someone brave enough to see potential where others see problems. If this sparks your interest in grassroots tech transforming India, share it forward. Solutions like this deserve to reach every village that needs them. The future of rural power might just walk on four legs! #NandiRath #RuralInnovation #SustainableEnergy #MadeInIndia

The Cultural difference between Indians and the white People.. He is Heinrich Klassen, He earns around 30 Crore from IPL every year. He earns around another 8-10 Crores from other Leagues. He is currently in Hyderabad with his Wife and Daughter. Today, he wanted to take his family for a ride and he booked an Auto . He could have easily hired a luxury car for his family but he still chose to travel by auto in 40 Degrees. In India, if someone earns 10 Lakh Per month, He/she will never sit in an auto because that may hurt their Status in the society!!

India is surrounded by sea on three sides, yet it has killing dust on its roads. I went to Dubai, which is surrounded by desert, yet its roads are free from dust. This is also the fault of the Tropic of Cancer passing through central India.🤡

@VSuresh_Rights #Arappor

Not just Senthil Balaji & DMK govt, all 26 companies involved in this massive scam must answer CBI on why and how they arrived at the exact amount ₹13,72,930, which was 50% higher than the market price. Hopefully, some of the business houses involved in this corruption will get punished and permanently blacklisted from supplying to TANGEDCO.

A contractor approaching the High Court alleging a 15% cut demand in a major public tender is not a minor controversy, it is a serious indictment of the system itself. When allegations emerge that public contracts are allegedly tied to commissions and “higher up” pressure, it raises disturbing questions about how governance is being run. If businesses and contractors believe that tenders are decided not by merit, transparency, or public interest, but by unofficial cuts and political influence, then public trust collapses. Taxpayer money is meant for development, infrastructure, and better civic services, not to feed an alleged culture of commissions. The government cannot remain silent or dismiss such claims as routine allegations. Karnataka deserves answers, accountability, and an independent probe. Governance cannot function under the shadow of alleged corruption where every contract appears to come with an unofficial price tag.

In a state where rapists, murderers, pedophiles, mining mafia thugs, drug-smugglers and assorted criminals roam free flaunting their existence -- Savukku Shankar has had the Goondas Act invoked against him three times in two years. As a critic, he might have made peace with the consequences of what comes when you expose a repressive apparatus, but nothing could have prepared any of us for what his mother had to face. In the end, the brutality of the DMK regime's witch-hunt on Shankar claimed his mother's life. Kamala amma lost her husband in 1991. From that moment, her life revolved around Shankar, he was her world. She single-handedly raised her children, and years later, whenever Shankar was arrested, it was she who went to court, who filed petitions. Even in her last weeks, she was pleading before the court, asking them to remove her son from solitary confinement and allow him access to medical treatment. What was the price she paid for his outspokenness? Faeces and sewage poured into her home by a 20-person mob, and abuse poured on her, while she was trapped inside for five hours. Later, after they had changed homes, the fire service deployed to break open her doors, in a case framed to arrest her son. Her last days spent in hospitals, unable to be with her son in her final moments. What did she, as a mother, do to deserve any of this? Unlike what the haters and abusers on this hell-site would have one believe, his mother's funeral was the third or fourth time I had ever met Savukku Shankar. When we first met, he recalled seeing me as a schoolgirl accompanying my mother to the High Court (my mother's advocate was someone in whose office he had seen us). That memory -- Shankar talking about my mother as our first point of contact -- kept coming back to me endlessly. And now, watching him on parole, surrounded by uniformed policemen, saying goodbye to his own mother -- it breaks me in ways I will never be able to fully express. I felt like a member of her family though I never got the chance to meet Kamala amma when she was alive. I went to attend her last rites to say goodbye to a courageous tigress of a woman. I went there to bear witness to what the DMK's oppressive party-state machinery can do when you dare to question their actions. Please read this letter by Savukku Shankar, addressed to all of you, so that her death does not go in vain. His suffering began on 4 May 2024 with his first arrest under this government. On 4 May 2026, when the results are declared, it could end. . .
