Sci-Twitter! Any experience with *custom* RNAscope probes? @ACDbio charges $$$$ for just _design_ of the probes (+ $$$ for 20 slides). RNAscope does work beautifully in the brain (and Stellaris doesn't for us). Custom design works well? Cheaper alternatives that work in neurons?

Dear RNA twitter, I usually use Stellaris 48x20mer probes for smFISH but now need to target smaller RNA regions (>200nt). I guess bDNA technology is the tool. Any experience with RNAscope ViewRNA, others etc?... thanks @jrRNAscientists @grnfluoresceblg @ilandavislab @arjunrajlab
