We urge Egyptian authorities to uphold their obligations under international law and immediately halt any forced deportations of Eritrean asylum seekers. Preventive action now can save lives and prevent irreversible humanitarian consequences. @AlsisiOfficial @CabinetEgy @MfaEgypt @EgyptPresidency @nchregypt @EIPR @UNHCREgypt @Refugees @RefugeesMedia @UNmigration @BarhamSalih @KellyTClements @RuvenMenik @UNReliefChief @FilippoGrandi @Raoufmazou @hrw @amnesty @Eu_echo @Unocha @Refugees #ProtectEritreanRefugees #StopRefoulement #HumanRights #Egypt #Eritrea

STOP PERSECUTION OF ERITREAN REFUGEES IN EGYPT Eritrean refugees who have already fled one of the most repressive and closed political systems in the world — a country marked by indefinite forced national service, imprisonment without trial, enforced disappearances, and the complete absence of democratic freedoms — are now facing arrest, detention, and the terrifying possibility of forced return in Egypt, and this represents not only a regional humanitarian emergency but a direct violation of the fundamental principles of international law that guarantee every human being the right to seek safety from persecution. Seeking refuge is not a crime; it is a universal human right enshrined in international conventions designed precisely to protect those fleeing systematic abuse, and any action that punishes people for escaping repression undermines the very foundation of global human rights protection. We demand an immediate end to the persecution, full respect for the principle of non-refoulement, and urgent international oversight to ensure that no Eritrean refugee is returned to a system where freedom, justice, and basic human dignity are denied. #TransnationalRepression #BlueRevolution #Eritrea #NoMorePFDJTerror @UN @UNHumanRights @Refugees @MinPres @RHDijkgraaf @hugodejonge @ericvanderburg @HankeBruinsSlot @DutchMFA @GemeenteDenHaag @Het_OM @OM_DenHaag @jan_vanzanen

JUSTICE FOR ERITREAN REFUGEES IN EGYPT Justice is not merely the existence of laws written on paper; justice is the active and visible protection of vulnerable human beings, the guarantee of due process, access to legal representation, transparency in detention procedures, and the assurance that no person is deprived of liberty without lawful and fair grounds. Today, Eritrean refugees in Egypt face uncertainty, fear, and confinement without clear legal pathways, and many are held without meaningful access to international protection mechanisms or independent monitoring, despite having fled documented patterns of political repression and systemic human rights violations. True justice requires immediate access to UNHCR, independent legal review of all detention cases, humane conditions, and a categorical guarantee that no individual will be forcibly returned to circumstances that place their life or freedom at risk. Justice delayed in moments like this is justice denied. #TransnationalRepression #BlueRevolution #Eritrea #NoMorePFDJTerror @UN @UNHumanRights @Refugees @MinPres @RHDijkgraaf @hugodejonge @ericvanderburg @DutchMFA @GemeenteDenHaag @Het_OM @OM_DenHaag @jan_vanzanen
