Just finished 2nd Tesla Robotaxi ride with @M3PUnleashed and @AndrewCHodgdon! Another great ride! This time the guys had it stop at a funeral home near the Tesla Delivery Center. I wasn’t sure what they had in store for me 😂

Here is the factory in Michigan that LG Energy Solution will convert/retool to manufacture LFP cells for Tesla’s new Megapack 3, which will be built in Houston.
Instead of relying on cells from China, Tesla will use American-made cells. Smart.

BREAKING: The U.S. Government has officially announced that @Tesla and LG Energy have signed an agreement to build a $4.3 billion lithium iron phosphate (LFP) prismatic battery cell manufacturing factory in Lansing, Michigan, with a 2027 start of production. "American-made cells will power Tesla's Megapack 3 energy storage systems produced in Houston, creating a robust domestic battery supply chain," the U.S. Department of the Interior said in a statement. Here's everything you need to know about Tesla's new Megablock, the latest in the company's industrial storage product lineup, which includes the new Megapack version 3: Megablock: • 23% faster to install with up to 40% lower construction costs • Plug and play platform (hardware, software and services) delivered as one all from Tesla. It's a pre-engineered medium-voltage block that integrates next-gen Megapack 3 • Eliminated above ground cabling between the transformer and the megapacks using new flexible busbar assembly • 91% MV round trip efficiency • 20 MWh of usable AC energy • Operates in temps of -40°C (-40°F) to 60°C (140°F) • 248 MWh per acre • 25-year life & >10,000 cycles • With Megablock, Tesla is targeting to commission 1GWh in 20 business days, equivalent to bringing power to 400,000 homes in less than month Megapack 3: • Will be manufactured in Tesla's upcoming Houston Megafactory starting in late 2026. 50 GWh annual manufacturing capacity when fully ramped. • 5 MWh of usable AC energy • Weight: 86,000 lbs • 28 foot long enclosure that can be shipped globally • Optimized for up to 8-hour applications • New drastically simplified thermal bay. My primary goal with today's Electrified video is to get everyone to have the "aha" moment about what Tesla and xAI are doing. I think I have the critical points that haven't been fully explained laid out in a way that will make sense and will provide a much clearer understanding of why this is revolutionary and exactly how this will be different than AI agents on the market today

Critics ask: if EVs are only about 10% of the U.S. car market, what has Elon actually scaled for someone who frequently talks about the “S-curve”? It’s nowhere near the impact the iPhone had on the phone market.

I hadn't even considered this, but Mark raises a good question. Where DOES Waymo take their cabs to get the tech package serviced?
Are they sent back to Arizona? Do they have a tech fly out to attend to them? Will there be a lone specialist certified in each city?

So the T mobile store team noticed that we were filming their vehicles, and they immediately came out to move their cars.
@JoNationLive went in after them and talked to them.
They said they’re not going to park there anymore (according to them), but we’ll keep checking to make sure.

I've never seen a more rapid sales collapse outside a severe ecnomic recession. BYD is currently running at below 50% capacity and sales dropped 36% on a apples-to-apples basis.
The trailing 2-months sales rate, which removes the effects of Lunar New Year, is down 36%!
Chart shows total globla vehicle sales which inlcude both total EV and PHEV sales. BYD does not make ICE vehicles.
