He entered the House of Lords as a Conservative life peer in 2014 & has a documented history of support for @Israel and Jewish causes, including serving as Christian Deputy Chair of the Council of Christians & Jews.

@HetzVentures, founded in 2018, focuses on Israeli founders in high-growth sectors. The firm has raised successive funds, including a $140 million Fund IV announced in early 2026, bringing assets under management close to $500 million. Its portfolio emphasizes technologies with roots in Israel’s renowned innovation ecosystem, which has deep historical ties to the Israel Defense Forces @IDF through mandatory service, Unit 8200 intelligence alumni, & dual-use advancements.
Managing Partner Judah Taub, a former IDF reservist, has publicly highlighted how military experience accelerates tech development. In a 2024 interview, he noted post-October 7 reserve duty & investments in companies emerging from army-inspired ideas. Hetz portfolio companies operate in cybersecurity and enterprise software, which are fields Israeli firms often contribute tools with both commercial and national security applications.
While not every portfolio company directly serves the IDF, Israel’s “Startup Nation” model routinely channels talent and Research & Design (R&D) from defense needs into global products.
Candace Owens married Lord Farmer’s son George Farmer in 2019, and she continues to face widespread criticism for her conspiratorial comments on Jewish people & Israel. Lord Farmer publicly distanced himself in August 2024, posting a detailed thread affirming his opposition to antisemitism & his support for Israel’s right to defend itself following the Oct 7 Hamas attacks.

As debates over Israel and antisemitism continue, Lord Farmer’s portfolio highlights the major hypocrisy by Candace Owens as it pertains to her luxurious lifestyle that is supplemented by her husband & the flow of generational capital that was made through investments into companies Candace Owens prefers not exist since they are Israeli & Jewish.
