Metabolic Blueprint ⚡
Metabolic Blueprint ⚡@metabolic_print·
A lot of people do have to get heavier before they get healthier. Spend years under-eating or dieting and your metabolism is suppressed, the only way it climbs back up is to refeed it. I've known people who are significantly larger and heavier than me, that disproportionately gain weight on nearly half the calories that I consume. Thyroid rises, temperature rises, and yes, some weight comes with it. Making your body feel safe and abundant, especially coming from a stressed baseline, often needs a refeed that brings some weight at the beginning. Your metabolism climbs because the body finally trusts that fuel is plentiful. The weight is a side effect of that trust. Getting heavier is a phase. You refeed, the engine burns hot again, and a hot metabolism is then exactly what lets you lean out. You can eat more and burn more at the same time. The goal isn't to get fat, it never was. In men especially, more fat means more aromatase, more estrogen, and weaker drive, a loop that feeds itself. But to build a bigger engine, sometimes you gain a little bit before leaning out. I wrote the full version in my book.

🧠 Mental update while being on Reta The weight loss has been great. But a strange part of this journey has been what happens when you stop numbing yourself. For years I distracted myself with food, alcohol, isolation, and whatever else would help me avoid dealing with things. Then one day it felt like I woke up. And waking up has been weird. I find myself looking at my life differently. Looking at the things I built while I was numb. The things I ignored. The things I allowed. The things I lost. I have regrets. But I also have a lot of gratitude. I’ll randomly walk outside and think: “Damn it’s a good day to be alive.” And actually mean it. I find myself looking at my dad and realizing he’s getting older. Thinking about how fast time moves. Thinking about how none of us are here forever. That thought used to scare me. Now it mostly reminds me not to waste the time I have left. I’m not who I want to be yet. But at least I’m awake now. 💉 Patient023

"GLP-1s like semaglutide or tirzepatide can curb appetite in days or weeks, but real transformation? That takes time. It didn’t take a month to gain the weight — so don’t expect to lose it in one either. The best results often show up after a full year of consistency. Invest in the year — your future self will thank you. 💪 What’s your timeline been like? #GLP1 #WeightLossJourney #SustainableResults #PatiencePaysOff"

KPV 💊🧪 The compound specializing in system wide reduction in inflammation. It works by regulating inflammatory pathways and also helping regulate the immune response rather than just “blocking” inflammation outright. Researchers can potentially use this anti inflammatory peptide for conditions such as ✅IBS/IBD ✅General gut inflammation ✅Dermatitis/eczema like inflammation ✅Psoriasis like inflammation (due to immune system/cytokine regulation) ✅Aid with wound healing (due to inflammation) I have stacked this with BPC 157 and TB500 for lower back issues One thing I have noticed is that my seasonal allergies this year have been at bay while I’m taking KPV and they’re usually pretty bad. This could be due to its mastocites which are cells responsible for releasing histamine in the body. From anecdotal evidence it’s a docile and easy to use peptide without many side effects. Drop any questions in the comments. Thanks 🫶

Lateral raises 1 - most important thing, treat them like any other lift So many people in the gym perpetually use 15-20 pounds on their lateral raises, and they wonder why their shoulders don’t get any bigger If you want your shoulders / side delts to get bigger, you need to be using more and more load on this lift 2 - I like to use a bench to make the lift as stable as possible More stability = more motor unit recruitment and less chance of momentum / body English 3 - lead with your elbows, you want your elbows to at least be as high as your hands. 4 - have a 90 degree (or greater) angle between your upper and lower arm 5 - once your arms are parallel to the floor, there is no reason to go any higher, if side delt development is your primary goal 6 - cables can be a really solid option It’ll have a more optimal resistance profile, and more constant tension throughout the movement 7 - if you really want to grow them, place them at the beginning of the session, and train them more often 3 sets X 3 times a week is hard to beat

Good info. July is going to be crazy and a big turning point for the peptide community
Jake Gilman@jakeglmn

Dr. Alex Tatem just went on DOAC and explained why peptides are about to change medicine forever. Since the FDA announced they're voting to legalize 7 of them in July, here's everything you need to know: 1) The first peptide ever used in medicine was insulin back in 1921. But the ones we're talking about now were being legally prescribed by doctors as recently as 2023. Zero serious side effects and incredible results. Then overnight, every compounding pharmacy got an email saying they couldn't make them anymore. 2) Why were they really banned? You can't patent something naturally found in the human body. So pharma had zero incentive to develop them. "They are large machines designed to prioritize profit over everything. They couldn't care less about your health." 3) One peptide specifically torches belly fat. Visceral abdominal fat specifically. It's called Tesamorelin. 4) One of his patients 10x'd his sperm count with a peptide. He lost 100 pounds using a GLP-1 combined with diet and exercise. Sperm count went from near zero to completely normal range. 5) BPC-157 healed a completely severed Achilles tendon. "We have yet to figure out what dose would harm even 1% of the population because it is so incredibly well tolerated." It's also one of the 7 being re-legalized in July. 6) There's a peptide you can legally buy right now that rebuilds your skin. It's called GHK-CU. A copper peptide that naturally declines as you age. Applied topically it rebuilds collagen and elastin. 7) There's literally "exercise in a vial". A peptide called MOTC improves your VO2 max by upregulating your body's energy pathway. Essentially makes your body produce more ATP. (Also on the July legalization list) 8) Dihexa is a nasal spray that improves cognitive function. It was originally studied in Russia after traumatic brain injuries and strokes. "It upregulates the same factors that help with cognition and connecting sentences and bits of data in your brain." (Also on the July list) 9) Male fertility is in freefall. The leading causes: microplastics, environmental toxins, and metabolic disease. Peptides that fix metabolic dysfunction could reverse this trend for the first time in history. 10) The next GLP-1 drug is going to be a trillion dollar product. It's called Retatrutide. Clinical trials showed 20-25% total body weight loss AND the best liver health improvements ever recorded. Some call it "the Ferrari of GLP-1 medications." 11) How to actually get these when July comes? Licensed compounding pharmacies with a prescription. Until then his advice is simple: don't buy from research-only grey market suppliers. No quality control, you don't know what you're getting or how to dose it. Talk to your doctor.
