The President chose to put our nation at war with Iran without clear objectives or an exit strategy. It’s costing taxpayers tens of billions of dollars and North Carolinians far too much at the pump. His recent threats to Iran are beyond the pale, repugnant, and un-American, and they risk dramatic escalation. The attack on Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan, is reprehensible. Children were gathered for preschool there in the largest Reform synagogue in the US. I thank the security guard and local law enforcement for acting quickly to protect these kids from harm.
