@MS1MN @OceanTechonline @Microsoft There are some concerns and hurdles but the potential upside outweighs those. I know China has been working on an underwater data center cluster and as noted @microsoft dipped their toe into it years ago. Our organization thinks it's worth investing into though.

Untapped real estate, as you mentioned reduced thermal costs, even additional layers of security can be found underwater.
