KUKI INPI MANIPUR (KIM) NOTIFICATION | 16 June 2026 Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM), the apex body of the Kuki tribes, has issued a notification directing all Inpis and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Kuki-Zo inhabited areas to organize a statewide rally on 19 June 2026. According to the notification, the decision was adopted in view of the continued atrocities allegedly committed against the Kuki-Zo people and concerns over what KIM describes as misleading and distorted narratives presented before the Central Government. KIM stated that a Charter of Demands, based on facts and reflecting the Kuki perspective on the ongoing crisis, will be submitted to the Government of India. The organization has called upon all concerned bodies to ensure strict coordination, discipline, and maximum participation in the proposed statewide rally. The notification has been circulated to Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills, Kuki Inpi Churachandpur, Kuki Inpi Jiri-Noney-Tamenglong, Kuki Inpi Chandel, Kuki Inpi Ukhrul, and the Kuki Chiefs' Association (KCA) Tengnoupal for necessary action.
