Right now, in West LA, kids are forced to mask while playing basketball because @LACityParks is still under the City's mask mandates that were rescinded for private businesses in April. Inexcusable and example #1032 of how LA continues to treat kids the worst.

@DoctorTro @LDLSkeptic Brought to you by those who love to preach about the pathological nature healthy animal foods and normal levels of cholesterol. I'll pass on her faux outrage and misunderstanding of human biology

Where is your evidence for that statement? Eating disorders were not listed as an adverse event in the over 100,000 patients in clinical trials for CGMs Do you just make up shit to make yourself feel good?

@Moothong2007 They were all drooling over Djokovic when he’s refused vaccination and said “I’m prepared to miss tournaments”. Now that he actually has to miss tournaments, they’re whining about “politics” and him being “treated unfairly”….it’s PATHETIC

I do not understand the logic of many Djokovic’s fan that the world must spin as per just one tennis player ; begging to enter US while other millions people has no problem with it, other players has no problem with it. Djokovic chose to make this problem for himself.

@pjungar @DrEades That last line should read "I hurt trust in public health." You can't correct an issue without honest self assessment

It's amazing to see what 11 months of reality therapy can do to a zealot's mind.

Making a distinction between evidence-based and consensus-based guidelines is both misguided and misleading: all trustworthy guidelines demand both rigorous evaluation of the evidence and a process to reach a panel consensus. bit.ly/3cX623x

@jonathanchait Your inability to understand the distinction between the 2 erodes your position as a serious person. Lie to yourself all you wish, but you allowed your desire to frame an argument devalue your integrity Trying to argue otherwise just lowers your character more. Just apologize

It's important to get quotes right. But both lines are saying the same thing.

In fact, the misquote said virtually the same thing as the original. The misquote was minor (I will quote both in a follow-up) but we corrected because, unlike Rufo, we have standards.

@DoctorTro No one has lost faith in those things. They just no longer believe those things are being practiced by those claiming to practice them.

THE NEWS: This vaccine will prevent spread Censorship is freedom Inflation is good for you Men can get pregnant Saying the virus came from Wuhan is racist Hunter’s laptop is fake news Truckers are terrorists ALSO THE NEWS: Everyone has lost faith in the news
The Associated Press@AP

A state of perpetual disbelief: A growing number of people in Western nations have lost faith in democratic governance, science and a free press, turning instead to conspiracy theories, dark plots and secret explanations. apne.ws/MSV0aoF

@edwinB_author @Madisontx76 This is an unsophisticated understanding of freedom. Please take a breath and dedicate some time to thinking about big concepts. This one has missed you completely.

Visitation in hospitals should be made 100% normal with science-based (not political) infection control. Human relationships are essential to healing. Leadership (in medicine and politics) that cares about the actual people and society would be demanding this at every turn.

Hospital visitation rules are a stain on our society. I just heard a hospital in NY would not allow a husband to see his wife (who was sick and admitted) bc he didn’t take the c19 vac. He wasn’t even given the option of a test. This is inhumane and wrong- human rights violation.
