Last night, I voted for the second time this week to fully fund ALL OF DHS including ICE, Border Patrol, TSA, FEMA, etc. Anything less is an abdication of my Congressional duty to protect our homeland.
At a time when our country is reeling from four years of disastrous immigration policy and faces significant threats from abroad, we cannot afford to play fast and loose with our national security.
I urge my colleagues in the Senate and across the aisle to come to their senses and put America first.
