Honored to be received by H.E. President @HassanSMohamud after formally handing over my responsibilities as the Director of Communications at the @TheVillaSomalia Presidency. I thanked the President for entrusting me with the responsibility to serve my people at the highest level. I also listened to his wise counsel on continuing to work and strive for the betterment of our country. I extend my gratitude to my colleagues for the good and challenging times we shared. Rest assured, those are the memories I will always cherish as I move on to the next chapter.

A proud moment to represent my beloved blue nation. Grateful to the ambassadors, U.S. government representatives, Somali diaspora, and friends of Somalia in Washington, DC for joining us in the grand celebration of Somalia’s National Day on July 1st.

Statement on Criminal Responsibility and Complicity of the State Minister of Foreign Affairs in Visa Fraud and Human Trafficking I want the Somali public, international partners, and law enforcement agencies to understand one thing clearly - I do not make accusations lightly. Every statement I make is backed by documented, verifiable evidence - much of which I have already submitted to appropriate authorities, including officials in the United States. The State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Omar, is not merely complicit - he is the kingmaker behind an elaborate and ongoing criminal enterprise involving visa fraud, human trafficking, and the abuse of Somalia’s diplomatic infrastructure. His fingerprints are all over it. Here is one damning example among many - A Temporary Travel Document was issued by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Washington, D.C., to a Somali citizen suspected of having ties to terrorism in Somalia. This individual was arrested in Costa Rica, South America, while attempting to reach the United States. When the Costa Rican authorities decided to deport him, he requested Somali travel documents from our embassy - and he got them. That document was signed and issued under the full authority of Somalia’s Ambassador to the United States, Prof. Dahir Hassan Abdi, who just so happens to be the cousin of the state minister. This did not happen in isolation. It happened with the direct blessing and knowledge of state minister Ali Omar, who controls all diplomatic appointments and movements within the Ministry. Let me be absolutely clear: o No official Note Verbale or consular action is sent from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to any foreign embassy in Mogadishu or abroad without the approval or signature of the state minister. o All high-level travel and visa arrangements conducted by Somali diplomats - including those used by “mules” to smuggle people into Europe and North America - are coordinated with his office. o The network of fake visa sales, trafficking schemes, and diplomatic appointments for personal and political allies is not a side operation - it is systemic and coordinated from the top. If State Minister Ali Omar still holds U.S. citizenship, then by knowingly facilitating visa fraud and human trafficking, he has also violated U.S. federal laws and could face criminal prosecution under U.S. jurisdiction. State Minister needs to hire a seasoned lawyer immediately. This is not politics. This is a transnational criminal operation that violates the Constitution of Somalia, the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, U.S. immigration law, and international anti-trafficking conventions. As a Member of the House of the People of Somalia and a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, it is my constitutional responsibility to exercise full oversight over all foreign affairs activities. As a U.S. citizen, it is also my sworn legal obligation to report criminal activity that threatens national and international security - and that is exactly what I am doing. This is only the beginning. I challenge the state minister to deny this. If he wants to debate evidence, I am ready to publish every document, including the travel permit issued to a terrorism suspect by his cousin, the ambassador - under his supervision. Somalia will not be held hostage by criminal networks wearing suits and hiding behind diplomatic immunity. @ICEgov @RepTiffany @RepOgles @golaha_shacabka @RepBrianMast @HouseForeignGOP @RepMoolenaar @committeeonccp @realDonaldTrump @SecRubio @StateDept @USTreasury @TheJusticeDept @SpeakerJohnson @Jim_Jordan @freedomcaucus @susiewiles2024 @StephenM @GOPMajorityWhip @RepFinstad @RepFischbach @RepPeteStauber @RepMTG @FoxNews @BreitbartNews @NEWSMAX @HassanSMohamud @TheVillaSomalia @HamzaAbdiBarre @AadanMadobe @SomaliainQatar @MOFAKuwait @UAEinSomalia @ChineseSomalia @KSAmofaEN @US2SOMALIA @EU_in_Somalia @ItalyinSomalia @UNSomalia @TC_MogadisuBE @UNDPSomalia @UKinSomalia @WorldBankAfrica @IMFAfrica @JMeservey @CanHCKenya @SwissEmbassyKE @AbdisalamDhaay @MOFASomalia @AliOmarMP
