@tyromper Thanks brother 👊🏼
Love how you model staying healthy in mind, body and soul for your kids!
Not only will they see that their dad can still hang on the basketball court, but your example of a peaceful soul & a curious mind will be a huge legacy they can draw on for years!

Parents know that you don't need a gym to train once you have kids!
A hike becomes a double weighted vest hike on the way home!
A walk through the neighborhood becomes 25 races & sprints as they get older!
Everyday your kids push you to be a better version of you because you see little eyes always watching & emulating you.
Parenthood:
•An EXCUSE for some to be lazy & blame their kids for a lack of TIME.
•A MANDATE for some to be strong & healthy for their kids to be a role model.

@tyromper 💪🏽 love it. We had the “never run an errand alone” rule… most of the deep meaningful conversations we had with each of them happened 1:1 across the car as we drove to Home Depot or Walmart.

Pro dad tip that every parent should do!
Don't do chores alone.
Invite your kids to "help" with everything.
It'll take longer most times, but it's good for them & great bonding time!
Plus, you don't have entitled lazy kids then :)
If I'm trimming bushes, taking the trash out, airing up tires, sorting laundry, etc. I get my kids to help & do it too!

@grace_sharp Nice… makes the commute and cardio way more enjoyable! Would love to hear your top reads lately.

There’s been a significant shift in how people post on Twitter/X too…
Pre-Elon there were actual opinions expressed and some nuanced discussions.
Since monetization (and huge app growth), most people just sell stuff now. Even so called “opinions” are just product positioning statements for a follow up offer later. It’s moved from the community square to the community market.
One reason you and @ZubyMusic are two of my regular engagements- b/c you both still use the app in OG fashion.

Nikita I'm bullish & grateful for all you guys do on X!
Question tho would it benefit us to remove the "old followers" that are never on here anymore?!
Like many, engagement has fallen off a cliff of late & I've had a dozen people (even my own wife) say I never show up on their algo even if they search for me.
I grew a ton many years ago & wonder if a lot of them just aren't here anymore.
Looking for some clarification please! 🙏

Nikita Bier@nikitabier
@BillyM2k The reason I’m interested in doing this because people overestimate how many of the followers are still active, especially if they grew in a prior era (e.g., COVID, etc)

@jakozloski @ChrisWillx A Glp-1 and a gym membership is a better ROI than college when considering mate preferences & long-term life satisfaction.

Men’s top don’t-want in a spouse is “overweight” by a 2.5x margin over the next item. Women’s top don’t-want is “rude” by a 1.5x margin. Men’s rejection filter is dominantly physical. Women’s is dominantly character. Both sexes’ top wants are identical though: kind and funny. (Keeper data on millions of stated preference clauses.)
