the first time i perused the punks website, they were about $200, which was nearly the total amount of crypto i had in my wallet at the time. so i couldn't bring myself to spend it all on a pixelated image, even if i thought they looked cool and definitely saw value in the first uniquely identified digital artifacts on the leading smart contract chain. 1 year later i finally had a bit more coins and ready to make the big purchase, and i vividly remember watching the floor shoot up to 5e within a weekend and me sitting powerless thinking that i'll never be able to afford one. this was the actual kickoff of the NFT craze season during which the onchain gods blessed me with some lucky draws. but it was still not enough to get a punk. so i decided to play the long game, patiently accumulate eth and wait for the floor to go down. my only rule was: if the floor falls below the price of a validator (32e), then it's fair game. i had been actively watching the floor creep down since june, but was waiting for a cool-looking punk with crazy hair that i could snag. earlier this week opportunity rang - i had missed it the first time it was listed, but wasn't gonna miss again. i gathered liquidity from wherever i could find it and pulled the trigger. say hello to punk 9229.

🔸New Dash: Fear & Greed Index I've created a new Dune dashboard that does sentiment analysis on Farcaster posts. Idea is pretty simple: - Sell euphoria - Buy fear Link: dune.com/cryptokoryo/fe… I believe this fear & greed index is much more responsive and reactive compared to the traditional f&g index which lags by a lot. As it's only recently that Farcaster is seeing some good traction, there is little data to backtest. But I'll keep refining it with time. I think it already doesn't look that bad and hopefully it will get better with iterations. My only wish is for @farcaster_xyz to continue its growth.
