Hon Timbo categorically stated that the decision 4 Dr. Kamara to engage with @julius_maadabio was a collective one, involving all executive members of the party. This unequivocal endorsement serves as a testament to Dr. Kamara's transparency, sincerity, accountability. @Sierra

Quick Update! We wish to inform supporters of Electoral Justice and all concerned Sierra Leoneans that security personnel previously deployed to the two residences of our leader, His Excellency Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, have been withdrawn. We are pleased to reassure everyone that Dr. Samura Kamara, who is poised to assume leadership on the global stage, remains safe and secure. @AConteh357598 @EUinSierraLeone @USEmbFreetown @SecRubio @ecowas_cedeao @ebklegacy @julius_maadabio @Fornahib @PerspectiveSco3

@PerspectiveSco3 @julius_maadabio @sierra That is incorrect. Timbo confirmed that the decision to accept Samura's secret deal with Maada was a collective one. He did not say that the executive prior to the meeting with Maada knew and collectively agreed to the engagement with Maada. This secret meeting was done without .

Fellow Sierra Leoneans and the Internatioonal Community I am deeply concerned and apprehensive that armed security personnel have occupied and blockaded my two residences in Freetown on this Labor Day. As the APC party's presidential candidate for the June 2023 elections, I urge the international community and moral guarantors of the ongoing political transition in Sierra Leone to intervene promptly and address this security matter. Furthermore, I call on the international community to call upon President Julius Maada Bio to prioritize peace and take swift action to ameliorate this ugly and potentially explosive situation. As it is now, the lives of my family and I as well as of those close to us and the majority of peaceful Sierra Leoneans are at serious risk.

@PerspectiveSco3 @julius_maadabio @sierra The knowledge or approval of NAC. Maada called Samura and Samura was at Maada's house within 30 mins. He did not speak to any NAC member. How can they collectively approve a meeting they knew nothing about ???

This was the agreement that @ECsalone signed in 2018 & it remains applicable today. This is a binding document, and all of the violators will be prosecuted in a competent court of law. The commissioner declared a winner at a time when votes were still getting counted across other regions. Give us our results at the polling station level. Sierra Leone is better than this. @EUinSierraLeone @USEmbFreetown @eueomsl2023 @AsstSecStateAF @StateDeptSpox @StateDept @IntlCrimCourt

President-Elect Dr. Samura Kamara, renowned for his philanthropic efforts, has generously donated Christmas gifts to school for the blind and other facilities supporting individuals with physical challenges in Freetown. As he so eloquently puts it, "It's not about the quantity of the gift, but the thought and love behind it." @AConteh357598 @andrewkay1989 @samurakamara201 @PerspectiveSco3 @factcheckingsl @Fornahib

I am deeply concerned about the ongoing mass deportation of our brothers and sisters from our sister Republic of Guinea-Conakry. I would like to urge both governments to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy to resolve this issue peacefully. Our shared history of cooperation and mutual respect must continue. I would like to appeal to the Guinean authorities to adhere to internationally accepted norms and standards. Our two nations have a long history of peaceful coexistence and the free movement of our people across borders. We must, therefore, work together to maintain this bond on the basis of our shared values of peace, cooperation, and human dignity. The ongoing deportation is a setback to these ideals. Let's, reaffirm our commitment to regional integration, well-being of our citizens, and their free movement across the borders of the Mano River Union (MRU) and the wider ECOWAS while applying agreed Protocols. While respecting Guinea’s sovereignty, I strongly appeal to the Guinean authorities to demonstrate compassion. Due process must also be afforded to those facing deportation, in line with the principles of justice and human rights. Our shared humanity and regional solidarity demand that the two governments work together to address this crisis compassionately. Let us be guided by empathy and justice as we seek sustainable solutions for these affected families. #long Live Sierra Leone-Guinea Solidarity and Brotherhood.

Following the recent resignations of the Attorney General and the Minister of Internal Affairs, we urge @PresidentBio to ensure continuity and stability in governance. We also call upon him to uphold the commitments outlined in the Communique with the Liberian President and other diplomats, facilitating a peaceful transfer of power to President-elect Dr. Samura Kamara. To ensure a seamless process, we appeal to all ministers and government appointees to remain in their positions during the transition. Furthermore, we reassure our fellow citizens in the Southeast that President-elect Dr. Samura Kamara is committed to promoting national unity and reconciliation and will take all necessary steps to prevent reprisals during his tenure. @EUinSierraLeone @USAmbUN @USEmbFreetown @SecBlinken @factcheckingsl @ecowas_cedeao @_AfricanUnion @PerspectiveSco3

On Dec 6th, 2024, the prosecutor & registrar of the International Criminal Court met with the Minister of Justice & Attorney general of Sierra Leone- Mr. Mohamed Lamin. Seven days later, he has been replaced. Why? This shows the desperation of Maada Bio, who is becoming increasingly isolated by world leaders. He is becoming dangerous everyday he stays in power. The extrajudicial killings will continue if his indictment is not made public. It's now becoming increasingly clear that one of the reasons why the illegal dictator @PresidentBio is fighting to stay in power is to avoid his sealed indictment by the I.C.C prosecutor @KarimKhanQC It's time for him to pay for all his crimes against humanity. He thoughts reveal the death penalty will protect him. What he did not know was that the world knows he replaced the death penalty with extrajudicial killings and assassinations. Just like Bashar Al-Assad, Julius Maada Bio's empire SHALL crumble. @USEmbFreetown @BBCAfrica @EUinSierraLeone @FCDOGovUK @StateDeptSpox @StateDept @FCDOGovUK

📢 I join the body of fellow citizens who are today deeply troubled by the continued arrest and detention of Mr. Wadike Williams and Mr. Thomas Babadi, peaceful citizens exercising their constitutional right to peaceful protest. 🇸🇱 Our 1991 Constitution explicitly protects the right to assembly and protest under Section 26 (1): "Every person shall be entitled to assemble freely and associate with other persons, and in particular, to form or belong to any political party, trade union, or other association for the protection of his interests." Moreover, as a signatory to the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Sierra Leone is bound by Article 20 (1): "Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association." The indefinite detention of these individuals raises serious concerns about upholding the rule of law and respecting the fundamental rights guaranteed by both our national constitution and international commitments. I therefore urge our national authorities, our moral guarantors and the international community to ensure the due process of the Law is followed, and to respect the freedoms that are the cornerstone of a United, Free and Peaceful nation. As true and loving Sierra Leoneans, we must remain strong and openly committed to protecting the rights of each one of us, and to honoring democratic principles for a better future. This is the entrenched determination of the cross Party Agreement for National Unity. #Justice #HumanRights #Democracy #AFreeSierraLeone'

My heartfelt congratulations to you, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, on your successful political comeback as President of Ghana. Your victory is a testament of the confidence and trust the people of Ghana have placed in your leadership and vision for their future. Ghana’s democratic credentials remain another shining example of what the strength and resilience of democracy ought to be in the ECOWAS region. As Flagbearer and Presidential candidate of Sierra Leone’s opposition All Peoples’ Congress (APC) party in 2018 and 2023 multi-tier elections, I salute the people of Ghana, for and on behalf of the APC party, it's leadership and all its numerous supporters and sympathisers, for their peaceful and transparent electoral process, which inspires hope for a thriving democratic governance across Africa. I also acknowledge the Electoral Commission of Ghana for respecting the Will of Ghanaian voters in their choice of political leadership. I wish you success in your leadership and pray that Almighty God will grant you the wisdom of Solomon in your Administration. #DemocracyInWestAfrica #GhanaDecides"
