@FifthThird fucking us on buying a house. Got approved, made an offer, it was accepted and in the middle of this tells us that we don't actually qualify for one of the programs we were using. Now we're scrambling because we were relying on that. This was a horrible mistake.

God, I hate @FedEx. "Package scheduled for End of Day, 2/13"...also package: "departed location 11 hours away at 5AM this morning"....in what world am I possibly getting said package today now?

Built my first @shopbrickcraft set earlier. Went with the Planet Express ship, and I quite enjoyed it. Decently priced, decent pieces, good instructions. Solid competitor to that other brand for the price you pay and the licenses they have. Proper short form review soon.

Built the first 7 bags of the new Black Pearl set today. Will be finishing it tomorrow, early. Live around 8AM Eastern tomorrow to finish it. Long stream incoming.

Ordered @mcfarlanetoys NCR Ranger via @Walmart back in August. Got an email to update payment method so I did. They cancelled the order anyways. Fuck Walmart.

I know I've said it before, but time to finally cancel @amazon prime. Very few orders in the last few months were actually 2 day shipping and constantly missing the delivery promise date.

@AmazonHelp Boy, that made me laugh. The email after the order specifically said tomorrow and now the shipping email says Tuesday. I'm so sick of the misleading promised delivery dates.

I didn't forget about the weekly review. Just been busy. Will get it out before EOD. Another written one, shorter and about a GWP set that I felt was relevant with all the issues around Creel House and that GWP (and the Death Star and that GWP...)

I do love @LEGO_Group, but the way their releases are being handled currently is saddening. Low inventory, (e.g. look at the Creel House release...), GWPs that feel explicitly tied to sets and you are SOL if you miss out on (look at the Death Star)...sigh, and the prices...

First review of the year will be live Friday, and then a new review every Friday in 2026 - that is the goal. Reviews will be a mix of short form shorts/TikTok, written, or full reviews (mainly larger sets for this). Larger sets will likely be streamed, smaller sets won't.
