Hegseth announces automatic registration for US military draft to begin in December. Any immigrant who doesn't register within 30 days of turning 18 can be criminally charged. While absurd, practically speaking all this does is show MAGA hypocrisy. Somehow automatic voter registration isn’t possible—but automatic registration for the draft program is both possible and now required. MAGAs don't want to make it easier for young people to vote—just easier for them to die in Trump's illegal wars.

We thank the U.S. Department of State (@StateDept) for its quick action to protect American lives by authorizing the departure of non-emergency U.S. government personnel and their family members from the U.S. Embassy in Abuja due to the worsening security environment.
Under the current government, #Nigeria is experiencing a serious deterioration in its economic, social, and security conditions, reaching levels not seen in its long and proud history. Recent actions by the Independent National Electoral Commission (@inecnigeria), reportedly taken under pressure from the Office of the President, have only deepened these challenges.
While foreign nationals may depart, ordinary Nigerians are left to fend for themselves under a government that appears more focused on retaining power against the wishes of the majority of Nigerians than on fulfilling its responsibility to protect and provide for its citizens.

Breaking News: Nigerian billionaire Abdul Samad Rabiu’s son, Khalifa Rabiu, is set to receive approximately ₦13.2 billion ($9.6 million) as dividend from BUA Foods Plc. This follows the company’s approval of its largest dividend payout in history for the 2025 financial year, which more than doubles the previous year’s distribution. BUA Foods will distribute a total of ₦504 billion ($364 million) to shareholders. Khalifa Rabiu holds 473.6 million shares, representing a 2.63% stake in the company. His father, Abdul Samad Rabiu, who owns a commanding 92.64% stake, is expected to pocket around ₦467 billion ($337.3 million) from the payout.
