Update : After 87 minutes of timepass on call by Amazon customer service and endless chat transfers (15 executives transferred) on the link that Amazon provided on social media, I have now raised this issue of Overcharging with Ministry of Consumer Affairs. (@jagograhakjago). Will take this up with official @GST_Council channels once Amazon state it's reason. Important : Amazon had fantastic customer service when it started, it's terrible now. It is no more a customer centric company.

NFC-BASED OFFLINE UPI PAYMENTS ARE COMING 🇮🇳 NPCI is developing NFC-powered offline UPI payments that will let you tap to pay even when both your phone and the shop's PoS machine have no internet. The feature will support transactions up to ₹2,000 using your preloaded UPI Lite balance. It is designed for places like flights, underground metro stations, and other no-network areas. Banks and UPI apps are also working to support this feature, bringing UPI one step closer to working almost anywhere.

Flew 7212km to experience The Odyssey IMAX 70mm in BFI IMAX London. So much to process. If you wish to understand how 15/70 film looks like - it’s the sharpest projection I’ve ever seen. It’s so NATURAL. As sharp as how you’d see yourself in the mirror. Every scene with Charlize and Matt Damon were tact sharp - incomparable with any DCP I’d seen. Colours too, few shades of blue and green I don’t think I’ve ever seen digitally. Film projection exists outside the confines of pixels, bit-depth, compression. Combine this with the GIANT GT auditorium, the 1.43:1 ratio which swallows your vertical FOV. That’s IMAX. That’s the promise. I get it now. Truly grateful to have been able to finally experience something I’ve been so passionate about

Our country's PCI is still below $3,000 lol, yet they act as if we're already a rich nation that can afford to block critical infrastructure. Good roads are the foundation of development. India needs industrialization, better logistics, and modern infrastructure to become a high-income or at least a solid middle-income country before our demographic dividend begins to fade around 2045. The kind of activism that opposes every infrastructure project became common in many wealthy countries only after they had already built extensive road and transport networks. The U.S., for example, invested heavily in infrastructure decades ago. As President Kennedy famously implied, American roads are not good because America is rich; America is rich because American roads are good. The government should enforce the law firmly against anyone who unlawfully obstructs approved public infrastructure projects.

This is the HSR route @CMOTamilnadu should push for. High-speed rail is about building economic corridors, not just faster journeys. South India especially Tamil Nadu's industrial belt must be part of India's long-term HSR vision. Connecting Chennai, Hosur, Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, and Tuticorin would strengthen manufacturing, improve logistics, boost tourism, and support exports, subject to strong demand and economic viability.
