Zakat-ul-Fitr is a sacred obligation meant to purify our fast and bring joy to the poor before the day of Eid-ul-Fitr. Its purpose is to ensure that the most vulnerable members of the Muslim Ummah—the poor, widows, orphans, displaced families, and those struggling to survive—have food and dignity on the day of Eid. The beauty of Zakat-ul-Fitr is that it is meant to be given before the Eid prayer, so that those in need can prepare, cook, and celebrate like every other Muslim family. Waiting until the last minute makes it difficult for these families to receive and benefit from it in time. Many of these children fast with sincerity and patience, yet they often do not know where their sahur and iftar will come from.
Since Day 1 of Ramadan, with the mercy of Allah [swt] and your generosity, we have been feeding 420 indigent Muslims daily across Nigeria. Alhamdulillah for every supporter who has made this possible. 🤲
However, our funds are running very low, and continuing this effort is becoming difficult. These children and vulnerable families are counting on the kindness of the community.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”
We humbly ask you to stand with us and support this noble cause so that no fasting child or vulnerable Muslim is left without food to break their fast.

During this blessed month of Ramadan, many of our brothers and sisters are struggling to find food and water to break their fast. Among those we serve are orphans, struggling widows, incarcerated Muslims, and patients in hospitals who depend on the kindness of the Ummah.
Allah ﷻ reminds us in the Qur’an to care for the needy and to feed others for His sake. Today, we are striving to uphold this noble duty, but we are currently running low on funds.
Support our effort to feed indigent Muslims during this sacred month of Ramadan and be among those who earn the reward of feeding a fasting person.
May Allah ﷻ accept your charity, multiply your rewards, and make it heavy on your scale of good deeds. 🌙🤲🏽
