I think the Ledger debacle was a massive PR & communication disaster. Not just around the release of the "Recover" feature, but their numerous statements about the secure element over the past 2 years. Don't omit important information just because you think the customer won't understand the technicalities. Especially if that communication implied that no "trust" was needed. My two sats.
