.@TfL’s latest published collision mapping shows bike on bike collision on the embankment cycle ‘super’ highway with two serious injuries. One of many problems with two-way bike lanes that makes them inappropriate for busy urban streets.

@Southwark_News Cyclist should have been wearing high vis clearly

An eleven-month-old baby was hospitalised after a car collided with a roadside bike hangar which councillors were reportedly warned was dangerously placed.

I had no doubt Ian Wright would do that! Who the hell is going to go on now !

BREAKING: Ian Wright has tweeted that he will not appear on Match of the Day tomorrow night, in solidarity with Gary Lineker.
English

Same park. Same stretch of road. Same result as another lamppost is destroyed by crappy driving. #ohmybeamer

English

@CyclistAttitude @jonburkeUK @MikeyCycling I actually saw one on a bike today for the first time ever clearly checking for phone use. He caught one straight away.
English

Another scumbag driving a high-powered car around town all day; throwing what looks like an N2O cannister out the window; & doing a balloon at the wheel.
How do they make their money?
Why should people like @MikeyCycling have to do the Met's job for it?

@prosocialplace @haringeycouncil Especially on a street like this where buses get stuck and traffic backs up almost every evening. The road is too narrow for 2 buses to pass further up with all the parked cars. @haringeycouncil @HaringeyLiving
English

@neilfaz @sianberry @GreenLondonAMs @nuttyxander @CarolineRussell @livingstreets @_wearepossible @London_Cycling @LonGreenParty @hackneycouncil It's incredibly dangerous to cross on a bike due to traffic coming at you on the wrong side of the road.
English

Right London. One good thing about the weather is it lets us see in *real life* how much space the traffic really uses. This is called a ‘Sneckdown’
Your mission - if you have a vantage point - is to send me all your Sneckdown photos for my files today! #londonsnow #sneckdown

@dog_gem @lonelywheels @MayorofLondon One a week killed round our way, heart attacks from the outrage.
English

@lonelywheels @MayorofLondon No that’s cyclists jumping red lights and cycling on the pavements.
English

@ANI 1) Dozen+ lanes on the ambience side (Delhi-Gurgaon) while only 3-4 lanes on the Toll side.
2) The bend adds to the congestion.
3) Toll goons & DP personnel stop vehicles in the middle of the road to check for toll payments.
4) Exit for IGI Airport too narrow.
English

@MattTakeTwo @Josh2304 @Sgalby1875 @charlie_baker23 @EurostarUK @ternbicycles You're weight estimate is out by a factor of 10
English

Heading back to Geneva - so what better way to get to the @EurostarUK than with our @ternbicycles? Safely from SW London to St Pancras with lots of luggage 🧳🤩 and top peddling from @Josh2304 🚲 #bikeisbest

English

@mikehakata @BobFromAccounts @haringeycouncil Car scattered all over the pavements are a bigger issue surely.
English

uh oh @haringeycouncil taking the active out of active travel. Perhaps do what Hackney has done and provide parking bays? If only you could act with such urgency when it comes to too many cars

@HemisLoco @limebike Hi, Lime have been instructed to ensure that their bikes are removed swiftly as we do not want users to be able to finish (or start) their trips within the borough until further notice. BM

@__GT___ @FietserGlasgow ASLs are common at UK traffic lights and are put into place to give cyclists a safe place to stop at busy crossings and allow them to be positioned ahead of other traffic so they have more time to pull off as the lights change.
English

@FietserGlasgow Nice use of 'facilities' there. Attempting to group a whole load of different arguments into 1.
I believe all road users ought to be considerate of all other road users. This video shows 2 examples of the opposite.
English

@ohbee07 @ldnparks @MikeyCycling Those straight 60mph single lane roads are the most terrifying to cycle on.
English

@HaringeyLiving @haringeycouncil I thought in London pavement parking was just simply illegal?
English

Joined a site visit with Officers to look at the impact of pavement parking this week. There are over 100 roads with pavement parking in Haringey. Very glad to see @haringeycouncil reviewing its policy on this. Any option where pavements aren’t accessible can’t be acceptable.

English

@jedmcc123 @wayne_hands @NFBUK They should, it can be a bit confusing though as it's not a familiar layout in this country. It's not entirely obvious what it is when you first approach one.
English

@wayne_hands @NFBUK But shouldn't the cycles give way to pedestrians at the small zebra crossings.
English

Please no more bus stop bypasses. Cycle lanes sandwiched in between the pavement & bus stop are not safe for blind, visually impaired, disabled & vulnerable bus passengers. Direct access from the pavement to & from the #bus is needed. Filmed 25/03/22 #London #BusNetworkInLondon
English

@LittleNinjaUK @georgeb91 @jonburkeUK You need to lookup the word 'and' and it's meaning in this context.
English

@georgeb91 @jonburkeUK Switching to electric vehicles is a way of substantially reducing emissions from motor vehicles that does not involve fewer cars and fewer car journeys.
The tweet saying "there is no way of...." is untrue.
