@__GT___ @FietserGlasgow ASLs are common at UK traffic lights and are put into place to give cyclists a safe place to stop at busy crossings and allow them to be positioned ahead of other traffic so they have more time to pull off as the lights change.

@FietserGlasgow Nice use of 'facilities' there. Attempting to group a whole load of different arguments into 1. I believe all road users ought to be considerate of all other road users. This video shows 2 examples of the opposite.

Joined a site visit with Officers to look at the impact of pavement parking this week. There are over 100 roads with pavement parking in Haringey. Very glad to see @haringeycouncil reviewing its policy on this. Any option where pavements aren’t accessible can’t be acceptable.

@jedmcc123 @wayne_hands @NFBUK They should, it can be a bit confusing though as it's not a familiar layout in this country. It's not entirely obvious what it is when you first approach one.

Please no more bus stop bypasses. Cycle lanes sandwiched in between the pavement & bus stop are not safe for blind, visually impaired, disabled & vulnerable bus passengers. Direct access from the pavement to & from the #bus is needed. Filmed 25/03/22 #London #BusNetworkInLondon
