Kudos to the @compolhdc @HDCityTraffic Department for the swift action in barricading this entry point. This was a much-needed step, as vehicles entering the one-way from this stretch had become a serious nuisance and safety hazard. Such proactive measures will go a long way in preventing conflicts and ensuring smoother, safer traffic flow. Very disturbing incident. A simple traffic disagreement turning into a violent attack shows how dangerously short tempers have become. Strict action against the accused is necessary, but more importantly, there is a need for better enforcement and public awareness on road discipline. This stretch near Siddappajja Temple has become a major nuisance with vehicles frequently entering from the wrong side. The traffic department must strictly enforce one-way rules here to prevent such dangerous situations. @pranav_gp @blrmetrotracker There is space below the yellow line pillars (where it curves towards e-city. And also below the pillars of D-E ramp. A small pathway fob from travelator to this area would suffice. Also this could act as an emergency exit in case of any mishaps.

@ravikeerthi22 there is a railway line passing near to that area, best is to build a elevated road over forst land along with railway line. The reason by DCF looks like it's purposefully being denied. Environmental Impact Assessment will show the true benefit of this connectivity.

Since PUNE BLR expressway also is proposed to end some where near, a road connector is very much required from PRR. Also rail link

The two arms of the flyover extending from IT Park toward the HDBRTS Corridor/Vidyanagar stretch serve distinct traffic flows: [1] One arm handles incoming traffic from Vidyanagar. [2] The other arm manages outgoing traffic from the Traffic Island/Keshwapur/Gadag Road. For the arm in point [1] (incoming from Vidyanagar): ● As shown in the first image, pillars have been erected in the mixed-use lane below, further "narrowing" the roadway. ● This will exacerbate congestion at this junction and the MVP, especially with Vidyanagar traffic merging into the mixed lane toward Cotton Market and the city center. A better design could have been: ● Remove the BRTS stretch from Hosur Cross to MVP, and start BRTS at MVP (after Hosur Bus Terminal). ● This would allow both flyover arms to align centrally, avoiding encroachment on mixed lanes, reducing congestion, and improving overall traffic flow. #Hubli #Hubballi @Hubballi_Infra @nagabhushanb @HubliCityeGroup @HDBRTS1 @HdmcHubliDwd @hdsmartcity
