The dissident right has made millions by selling everybody on the lie that Jews and Israel run the world. Their logic is that when a group is overrepresented in positions of power such government, courts, media, money that’s evidence they secretly run things. That logic is insane and deeply flawed. But let’s test that insane and deeply flawed logic. Catholics are 20% of America. They hold 6 of 9 Supreme Court seats and two-thirds of the court that just overturned Roe. They’re the largest single denomination in Congress at 28%. The current Vice President is a Catholic. The previous President was Catholic. They run the largest hospital network in the country where 1 in 6 hospital beds, and 1 in 7 American babies are born in a Catholic hospital. Globally? 1.4 billion people, roughly 1 in 6 humans. They have their own sovereign country. Their own UN seat. Embassies in 184 nations, more diplomatic relations than almost any country on Earth. And unlike any other religion, they have a single human being at the top of a global hierarchical chain of command, the Pope, with 5,400 bishops reporting up through him. Catholics outnumber Jews 93 to 1 globally. Catholic institutional assets alone are estimated between hundreds of billions and over a trillion dollars. The Catholic Church owns land equivalent to the size of Texas. The Vatican’s art collection is literally unvaluable. There is no Jewish Vatican. There is no Jewish sovereign state holding centuries of accumulated real estate and art. Judaism has no central institution at all. So if “they have all the money” were a valid argument, Catholics would win by an order of magnitude and nobody says that, because everyone knows counting institutional wealth isn’t the same as proving secret control. And before the Jew haters, give me the “but Jews are overrepresented among the rich” so are Indian-Americans, Hindus, Episcopalians, Nigerian-Americans, and Mormons. And nobody runs around saying that any of them run the world. But by these crazy people’s logic Catholics obviously run the world. The evidence is way stronger than anything anyone’s ever said about Jews. So do Catholics run the world? Of course not. Everybody knows that just like everybody knows the Jews don’t run the world, and Protestants don’t run the world but for some reason, you have people walking around believing Jews run the world. Jews who are .2% of the world’s population or 15 million people rule the world is insane. Anybody who looks at these numbers can see that it’s an insane proposition. So why do you believe that? Why would you believe that one group can somehow magically all come together to run the world. I mean, except for the fact that Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson told you so.
