I'd like to share a follow-up from my previous post about the changes to @YoroiWallet . The Yoroi mobile wallet update has been approved by the app stores and is now live on your device. We have removed Yoroi as a one-click option. Surprisingly, the Chrome extension is still pending review. We'll keep you posted. Thank you for your ongoing patience and rest assured our team is moving as quickly as possible. On a separate but related note, @JaromirTesar has invited me to join a discussion to discuss Cardano governance, and I want to acknowledge that publicly. It was a good-faith message and I appreciate it. @ItsDave_ADA and I also connected. These conversations should happen with an open mind and I am happy for them to be on the record. A note to the Cardano community on DRep delegation in Yoroi. Following our CEO @phillip_pon's statement, we intend to make the following changes to Yoroi: ⏸️ Pausing to Get it Right We will pause DRep delegation within Yoroi. We want to ensure that when you choose a representative, you are doing so with total clarity. This pause will remain in place until we can roll out a more neutral platform for Cardano Governance. This will ensure Yoroi does not continue to grow in DRep voting power until a more balanced delegation process is in place. 🏛️ Building a Governance Hub Looking further out, our goal is to develop a robust governance centre. We want this to be more than just a menu option. We’re envisioning a go-to space for the community to stay informed and active in the ecosystem, regardless of technical background. 🛡️ Safety First, Progress Fast The DRep discovery tool is our immediate priority. With valuable contributions from @Cerkoryn on GitHub, we’re hopeful we can ship these changes quickly. As always, safety and security remain our number one priority. Our current products are infrastructure-based. They are designed to improve how people access, understand and participate in the ecosystem with the overall objective of making Cardano more usable. SyncGovHub is our unified governance platform with almost 300 users. This tool allows people to access governance analysis and insights. CANDI is our MCP-powered AI Agent which allows users to query the blockchain directly using simple language prompts. The Agent is tapped into 80+ Cardano tools (like Taptools, Blockfrost, etc).

@SyncAI_Network you bring how many transactions for cardano?

This might seem random but you'll get the point by the end. In late 2024 we held an ICO for SyncAI. Our minimum ask was $2M ADA, and this number wasn't arbitrary. It was the amount of funding we would have needed to fully deliver the product and our roadmap in its entirety. At the time, many people told us to lower the minimum and try again (for context our sale got to about 700K ADA). We didn't do that because it would have meant compromising quality and putting us at risk of running out of funds before we could deliver what we said we would. That wasn't a risk we were willing to take on because in the end, it would have been our token holders that paid the price for that risk. Ultimately our sale was unsuccessful and one of the points of feedback we received was "you need a working product first". That's fair! We are now a year and a half past our ICO and we're in a strong position despite the fact that we never did another token sale, nor have we received any funding from Catalyst. We do now have working products (including a governance platform with almost 300 users), and they are products that bring parts of our original vision to life. We've shown you with actions that we are capable of building the things we say we will. The point of this is that solid builders WILL find a way and sometimes "failure" isn't failure at all, it's a signal that you need to pivot but keep going. We stuck to our principles with regard to token sales. We weren't doing a sale just to do a sale, we put the vision out, we offered the price, the community said no. And we kept going anyway. That is how you win long-term.
