We ordered food for three people, and after finishing our meal, we asked for the bill. To my surprise, the total amount was around ₹10,000. I was shocked because the prices mentioned in the menu card were nowhere close to such a huge amount. I immediately asked the waiter why the bill was so high. Instead of giving a proper explanation, he casually replied that I probably had not checked the menu carefully. I then asked him to bring the menu again. After comparing it, I questioned why the menu appeared different from the one we had seen earlier. However, the waiter insisted that nothing had been changed and claimed it was the same menu. As the argument continued, the manager arrived. I explained the entire situation to him, expecting a fair response, but he also supported the staff and said, “Madam, this is our actual menu. You must be mistaken.” To clear the confusion, I suggested checking the CCTV footage, since it could easily reveal the truth. But surprisingly, the manager flatly refused to show the camera recording and simply said, “Pay the bill and leave.” Now tell me honestly if the hotel staff were truly innocent and transparent, why would they refuse to check the CCTV footage?

One user wrote that people value money more than human life and blamed both individuals and authorities for weak enforcement. Another user called the act criminal and demanded permanent cancellation of the driving licence. Some users asked whether the vehicle passed through toll gates without being stopped. Many comments described the behaviour as irresponsible and dangerous. Some users said the driver should be arrested, the vehicle seized, and strict action taken. Others demanded that police increase monitoring on ORR and use cameras more effectively. There were also calls for stronger rules, including blocking vehicles with pending challans from entering the ORR. A few users even demanded lifetime restrictions on the driver. ORR is a high-speed expressway, and accidents at such speeds can be very serious. Several users pointed out that any mistake at 100+ kmph could cause severe injury or death, especially when children are not seated safely. Road safety experts and the public have repeatedly warned that children must always be seated properly inside the vehicle, using seat belts or child safety seats. Carrying passengers in the boot is extremely dangerous and against traffic safety norms. After the video went viral, police authorities responded publicly. They stated that the issue has been noted and will be verified. Officials said carrying passengers, especially children, in the boot of a moving vehicle is highly dangerous and puts lives at serious risk. They added that necessary action will be taken according to traffic and road safety regulations. Police also urged all motorists to prioritise safety and follow rules while driving. The incident has renewed public discussion about speeding, monitoring on expressways, and stricter penalties. Many users have asked authorities to take immediate and strong action to prevent similar incidents in the future. I’m trying make an urgent transaction on my @HDFC_Bank app. I’m trying to log in. It’s forcing me to change my MPIN since it’s been 6 months. There is no way around it. I don’t remember my MPIN coz I’m forced to change it every 6 months though there is no fraudulent activity. Unable to access my own money because of poorly thought out ‘security features’. Why change a pin that’s not compromised? It’s so cumbersome to keep creating & remembering 4 digit numbers for the bank every 6 months. HDFC please change this nonsensical procedure Irate customer.

A farmer named Chokkanna Gowda taken ₹50,000 loan from Canara Bank which is being cleared. But he got numerous messages & calls from bank for an “outstanding due” of just ₹9.34. His new loan was even put on hold. Frustrated He visited the bank & paid ₹10. Then demanded his 66 paise balance back on stamp paper. Bank said amounts below ₹1 can’t be processed in system. So he filed a legal case for 66 paise. His reply was legendary: “If banks count every paisa from us, why shouldn’t we count ours too?”
