While protecting our environment, the Trump EPA is proudly tearing through red tape that previously were obstacles stunting economic growth and U.S. energy dominance. President Trump is a builder, and under President Trump’s leadership, the U.S. energy sector is breaking ground on massive projects across America to build, power, and prosper.

In today’s news, the offshore wind industry has plenty of momentum. Five major projects are under construction off the US east coast. And New Jersey governor Mikie Sherrill is dusting off plans to develop wind projects, despite major public opposition. @SecretaryBurgum and @POTUS promised no offshore wind development. Period. Full stop. We realize the #IranWar is taking up much of Mr Trump’s attention right now, but the clock is ticking. Foreign energy giants are currently invading our waters and building offshore wind infrastructure that literally interferes with US defense capabilities. Trillions Spent, Zero Climate Gains: The Costly Myth of Green Policies Governments around the world allocated at least $16 trillion over the past three decades to combat climate change, yet global temperatures remained unaltered by even one-tenth of a degree. Economist Stephen Moore highlighted this enormous outlay in a pointed analysis published on RealClearPolitics. He drew on calculations by Bjorn Lomborg to underscore the figure, noting that the spending fueled an entire “climate change industrial complex.” In the United States alone, the Biden administration directed $400 billion toward green energy initiatives and related programs. Moore described this as a “shameful and colossal misallocation of human resources,” arguing that not a single life had been saved. Proponents promised transformative results, but the investments yielded no measurable environmental payoff. Instead, the funds enriched select industries while burdening taxpayers. Despite the trillions invested, atmospheric CO2 levels continued to rise, and warming trends showed no interruption from these policies. Moore pointed out that the planet’s temperature had not budged in response to the global crusade. This lack of impact exposed a fundamental flaw in the approach. Renewables like wind and solar, heavily promoted through subsidies, failed to deliver reliable power at competitive prices when full system costs were accounted for, such as backup generation and transmission lines. Natural gas, for instance, averaged $40 per megawatt-hour in full system costs in Texas, compared to $413 for solar. Such disparities revealed how mandates, rather than market forces, drove adoption. Policies targeting fossil fuels inflicted severe damage on poorer nations. Banks and international bodies shunned funding for coal and gas projects labeled as “dirty,” leaving over 1 billion people without reliable electricity. Moore warned that this “war on safe and abundant fossil fuels” cost countless lives by blocking affordable energy and exacerbating poverty. Developing countries struggled to build resilient infrastructure, from clean water systems to disease prevention efforts. Here are key opportunity costs of the spending: •Providing electricity to 1 billion people lacking access. •Eradicating malaria and other preventable diseases. •Building schools and hospitals in underserved regions. •Enhancing disaster preparedness through robust energy grids. •Investing in proven poverty-reduction programs. Federal subsidies further illustrated the imbalances. Under recent U.S. administrations, wind and solar generated 21 percent of electricity but captured 46 percent of energy subsidies, while fossil fuels – supplying 60 percent – received only 13 percent. Energy Source % of U.S. Electricity % of Subsidies (2016–2022) Wind & Solar 21% 46% Nuclear 18% 1.5% Fossil Fuels 60% 13% Nuclear power, at 18 percent of generation, garnered just 1.5 percent of subsidies. These figures, drawn from Energy Information Administration data, showed how incentives propped up intermittent sources at the expense of reliable ones. Regulations like the “endangerment rule” added over $1 trillion in projected costs by taxing carbon emissions, further inflating expenses without climate benefits. Key Takeaways •$16 trillion globally produced no temperature reductions or lives saved. •Poor nations bore the brunt, denied affordable energy development. •Subsidies favored unreliable renewables, distorting energy markets. The climate policy era stands as a cautionary tale of good intentions paving the road to economic waste. Recent policy shifts in the U.S. and Europe signal a welcome pivot toward pragmatism, potentially averting further losses. What do you think about redirecting these funds – what priorities would you set? newsbreak.com/climate-cosmos… @BjornLomborg @newsbreakApp

President Trump has ENDED the “Green New Scam”. Today’s repeal of the 2009 Obama EPA Endangerment Finding eliminates what has been referred to by some as the “Holy Grail” that empowered the nation’s most extensive regulatory overreach.

First it was Tish James and James Comey. Now it’s Senators, Governors, and the Fed Chair. In Donald Trump’s America you get a bogus investigation for doing your job. Americans reject this kind of totalitarian bullying. Where are Republicans? Hiding.
