They always have very decisive edges. But still, gaps actually undermine their productivity... The core issue is that even when we say trust in intelligence systems, it isn't just technically elaborate. It is actually the confidence that the commanders and soldiers can rely on AI outputs without any hesitation... When you look at a soldier, for him, it's a matter of life or death. Their split-second decision is a life-or-death decision. So, can we really depend so much on AI in that?... If he doesn't make decisions at the right time, he's given the advantage to the adversary... In the black box law, there are three gaps across 3 domains. One is the experimental, the second is robustness, and the third is human-AI synthesis. In all this, when we bring in the element of cyber, it actually takes it to a different level..." (11.03)

Chief of the Air Staff flew an operational formation sortie on the MiG-29 UPG from a forward airbase today. "𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗜𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴." Strengthening inter-agency cooperation and operational preparedness, a three-day Counter-IED Training Cadre was conducted by #SuryaDisposers for personnel of #SashastraSeemaBal at the Shingara Training School, #Barabanki, with 42 trainees including two officers participating. The cadre covered a comprehensive range of modules including table-top exercises, group discussions, field drills, joint exercises, classroom sessions and hands-on equipment practice. The focus remained on drills, response protocols and safety procedures while dealing with suspected objects, IED awareness and identification of suspicious indicators during operations. Participants were also introduced to IED mechanisms and field-based practical demonstrations, along with familiarisation of modern Counter-IED equipment such as Scorpio-based JX platform, modified ALS, IR cameras, bomb suits, explosives & narcotics detectors and specialised search and detection systems. The programme received excellent feedback from all participants, who appreciated the quality of instruction, demonstrations and exposure to specialised equipment, many of which they experienced for the first time during such training.
