1) Make sure you add a voltage regulator. I recommend stepping down to 5V for the LVDS board
2) Get a second screen to dissect
3) Two people make the separation easier (one heating evenly from the back, one pulling)
4) Add strain relief to the LVDS cable

An example I've seen IRL is HWY 64 in AR with 65mph speed limits and unprotected lefts across it from driveways.

I have posted this before, but this is to answer the broader question about road design, and why anyone would even attempt my Unprotected left turn vice going to a traffic signal. This is what the traffic situation looks like. These turns are common here, and in many other places in the world, like it or not.

Could also be fairly wide range of colors / a logo with different colors using a stencil.

Input Wanted: In the next studio, What should I use for workbench surfaces? Recently I used painted plywood, but 3d printer feet stuck it & scuffed it up a lot. My main workbench was stained butcher block, but it doesn’t hold up to IPA & Loctite. Kitchen counter laminate maybe?

@VAT_Engineering @NathanBuilds It's also a design flaw with the AMS. It will "jiggle" the filament back and forth at the feeder 24/7, imparting mechanical stress until it breaks in the feeder PTFE tube.
I've had to tear mine apart so many times that I literally haven't secured the screws in my AMS for months.

Feels like there is opportunity here for the lightest possible gantry design. Would move heater and drive units off of the gantry.

Anyone know if someone has made a laser based 3D printer? And not SLS.
Use a laser beam focused on a metal heater block in the gantry, laser is directed by mirrors similar to a C02 laser cutter. Then use a bowden drive setup...
