Dialogues கூட பல இடங்களில் வாழ்க்கையை reflect பண்ணும் மாதிரி இருக்கிறது. Music மற்றும் background score கதையின் mood-க்கு perfectly set ஆகியுள்ளது. Cinematography simple ஆன visuals மூலம் கதையின் emotions-ஐ அழகாக capture செய்கிறது. சில இடங்களில் screenplay இன்னும் tighter ஆக இருந்திருக்கலாம் என்றாலும், அதன் emotional connect அதை மறக்க வைக்கிறது. #MithunCinemas 🏷 Title: #Dridam 🎭 Genre: Crime Thriller 📆 Year: 2026 🗣 Language: Malayalam 🎟 Censor: U/A 📀 OTT: #JioHotstar ⭐ Rating: 2.25/5 அடர்ந்த காடுகளும் மலைகளும் சூழ்ந்த அமைதியான Kuzhinilam பகுதியில் இருக்கும் போலீஸ் ஸ்டேஷனுக்கு Sub Inspector ஆக join பண்ணுகிறார் Shane Nigam. அங்குள்ள போலீஸ்காரர்கள் எல்லாம் ஒரு குடும்பம் போல வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கும்போது திடீரென நடைபெறும் தொடர் கொலைகளும் ஒரு finance robbery-யும் அவர்களை பெரிய சிக்கலில் தள்ளுகிறது. அதற்குப் பிறகு என்ன நடக்கிறது என்பதே கதைக்களம். படம் ஆரம்பித்த முதல் 20–25 நிமிடங்கள் ரொம்பவே பலவீனமாக இருந்தது. “Police dress-la romba alaga irukeenga”, “young & handsome-ah chinna payan mathri irukaru” போன்ற வசனங்கள் தொடர்ந்து வந்து, Shane Nigam போலீஸ் கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கு செட்டாகிறார் என்று force பண்ணி நம்மை நம்ப வைக்க முயற்சிப்பது போலவே தோன்றியது. பல scene setup-களும் dialogue-களும் மிகவும் சாதாரணமாக இருந்தது. First half முழுவதும் பெரிய ஈர்ப்பு எதுவும் இல்லாமல் சென்றது. Interval-க்கு அப்புறமே யார் இதற்கெல்லாம் காரணம் என்று எளிதாக guess பண்ண முடிந்ததால் climax கூட பெரிதாக impact கொடுக்கவில்லை. ஆனாலும் Kill, Marco மாதிரி brutal-ஆன ஒரு action block மட்டும் கொஞ்சம் decent-ah work ஆனது. Jeethu Joseph இயக்கிய Drishyam 2, Neru போன்ற படங்களில் assistant-ஆ வேலை பார்த்த Martin Joseph இந்த படத்தை இயக்கியிருக்கிறார் என்பதால்தான் கொஞ்சம் எதிர்பார்ப்புடன் சென்றேன். ஆனால் இறுதியில் கிடைத்தது ஏமாற்றம் மட்டுமே. அந்த படங்களின் screenplay brilliance அல்லது engaging investigation feel இதில் எங்கும் தெரியவில்லை. மற்றபடி emotional connect-ஆகட்டும், investigation portions-ஆகட்டும் பெரிதாக impress செய்யவில்லை. நிறைய புதுமுக நடிகர்கள் நடித்திருந்தாலும் சில performances ரொம்ப awkward-ஆ இருந்தது. குறிப்பாக hero-வின் அப்பா character, lady constable, harassment complaint கொடுக்க வரும் பெண் போன்ற கதாபாத்திரங்கள் natural feel கொடுக்கவில்லை.
