How are people able to get smart summon to work on public roadways? It doesn't work on any roadway in Utah I have tried it on.

@bradshannon @DoW_CIO Some of the requirements are difficult to implement, plus there's validation that not many can do for you. It's crazy expensive and time consuming.

@bradhs @DoW_CIO You're already supposed to have all of the requirements implemented. CMMC just verified that you did it.

The DoW is immediately suspending CMMC Phase II requirements to clear bureaucratic roadblocks for the DIB. We must scale warfighter readiness, not paperwork. What you need to know: · Phase II & costly administrative burdens are paused. · Phase I self-assessments remain firmly in place. · NIST SP 800-171 Rev 2 and DFARS 252.204-7012 compliance are still required. · Focus is shifting to tangible cybersecurity and operational resilience, not red tape. To uplift cybersecurity while eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy, we’ve launched a 60-day review on the future of the program to be led by a CMMC Reform Task Force. We are also seeking industry perspectives from the DIB via our new RFI on driving scalable, realistic security measures and operational resilience without compliance burden. Bro misses the most important part: In 2026, it's illegal for teenagers to put your friends inside your car.
Path To Manliness@PathToManliness

I get why kids aren’t racing to get their driver’s licenses anymore. Cars are expensive. Insurance is absurd. Gas isn’t cheap. A trip through the Taco Bell drive-thru somehow requires a consultation with your financial advisor. But young bucks, listen to the millennial: You are massively overestimating how much money is required to have fun. We were broke too. We just had lower standards. Millennials would pile six people into a 1994 Toyota Previa with a check engine light that had achieved permanent residency. Someone knew a lake. Someone’s older brother knew how to acquire questionable booze. Someone had $11. Download every fast food app on your phone. Become a scholar of the value menu. Split gas. Buy a football. Find a swimming hole. Go fishing with equipment your dad hasn’t touched since 2004. Build a fire where you’re legally allowed to build a fire. Go to minor league baseball games. High school football games. Free concerts. County fairs. Hiking trails. Run a stupid 5K together. Get six friends and invent a competition so poorly organized someone nearly loses a shoe. Stop waiting for entertainment to be sold to you. That’s the trap. You think “going out” means spending $80 at a restaurant, buying $17 cocktails and paying $40 to park because that’s what adults on Instagram do. You’re 17. Your advantage is that nobody expects you to have any money. Get your license if you can. Get a shitty car. Find five good friends. Then go. The lake is still there. The woods are still there. The girls are still out there. Taco Bell still occasionally makes serious accounting errors on its app. Your youth is too valuable to spend complaining that fun got expensive. Become cheaper. Become more creative. Go make some stories. Just have one of you stay sober and drive the shitty van home.

Hey, @elonmusk, we have a Tesla Model X but we can’t really fit both parents and five kids, and the new SUV only has six seats. On behalf of those who are doing our best to repopulate the West, any chance Tesla can make a minivan or SUV with 7 or 8 seats?

@knox_pk @OGMarsLife I guess I am worried more about blocking the box. There were 3 lanes of rush hour traffic that couldn’t move because the intersection was blocked

What’s the odds of FSD getting a red light camera ticket in the mail for blocking traffic? I was not being a good supervisor chatting up @OGMarsLife and didn’t notice the backed up traffic. Then I saw the flash, then I saw $600 leave my wallet 😭

Psycho woman rips license plate off my Tesla in NYC. Please make her famous. I have additional face shot videos in the thread. I never thought this would happen to me. Caught on Tesla dashcam today (July 6) around 5:18pm in the Lower East Side. She walked straight up to my parked white Tesla at 171 E Broadway, tore the plate straight off, then casually walked away… and later strolled right back past the spot like nothing happened. Complete psychopath. @elonmusk @WholeMarsBlog @SawyerMerritt @libsoftiktok @CollinRugg @TaraBull @ray4tesla @Teslarati #Tesla #Teslacam #TeslaVandal #NYC #model3

Tesla has just launched Tesla Home, a home energy management system. Powered by Opticaster, Tesla's AI optimization software, it predicts your energy needs, automatically adjusts your usage across your electric appliances and can help lower your electricity bills. 1) Opticaster assesses your energy usage and the weather forecast to predict your home’s solar generation and energy consumption. 2) Your system creates a plan to help you meet your savings goal. Based on this plan, your home uses solar or stored energy when utility prices are high, while your Powerwall and EV charge from solar or the grid when utility prices are low. Either way, you can minimize your electricity costs. 3) Opticaster continuously analyzes your home’s energy usage, solar production and local utility prices to improve its optimization and forecasting abilities. With over-the-air software updates, Opticaster will get better over time. "Designed to work with a variety of home energy systems, Tesla Home connects Powerwall to Solar Panels, Solar Roof, Wall Connector and other third-party energy products, with no additional equipment needed." NYT is pushing a narrative because they don’t like Elon.
No Safe Words@Cyber_Trailer

You couldn’t make it up if you tried. The @nytimes has doubled down and still clearly blames Tesla in their headline for the suicide mission that this motherfucker went on. The New York Times has given up any modicum of credibility that they have left. They deliberately continue to reference autopilot to suggest that the software was in control of the vehicle. This is clear defamation. It’s intended to harm the reputation and safety of Tesla’s premier product. Exactly zero % of this fatal crash was caused by Tesla software. Yet the New York Times won’t retract their clear and obvious false claims. It’s sickening.

@RoKhanna Looks like thievery right in front of our eyes. What we need in government are heros not thieves. Create an opportunity for these people to use their money to build America, to help others, etc. You have zero right to take it from them because you want it.

DID YOU KNOW? Tesla is the first (and currently only) company in human history that will sell you a car capable of driving from your parking spot at the El Guacamole to a parking spot at the REI 20mi away while you sit there drinking Coke Zero & daydreaming.

Hm, this recent fatal Tesla Semi crash is interesting. I wonder what sort of autopilot firmware do they run up there, one would think the "running into stopped cars" scenario was long long fixed? Also "driver reportedly fell asleep"? What kind of driver monitor do they have there? Same cabin cam as in 3/y modern cars? I've seen a few other recent cases where that was not entirely adequate (aka failed to detect actual problematic driver, vs just being an annoyance to alert drivers)

I just signed a new law imposing a 100% state tax on any Californians who benefit from @realDonaldTrump's Jan. 6th slush fund for insurrectionists. Taxpayer dollars should support victims, not the people who attacked law enforcement officers and our very democracy. We don't fund criminals.

AOC tells her followers that Elon Musk gutted Medicare and Social Security to pay for his own tax cuts. Imagine what an unhinged, unstable person might do if he or she actually believes these nonsensical lies. This is the type of talk that ends up in a manifesto.

Something is fundamentally broken when we can mint trillionaires while millions of Americans still can't afford healthcare. It's time for a national billionaires tax to end corporate tax loopholes and build an economy that actually works for working people.
