In Rwanda,we have a serious issue of trauma caused by the @rpfinkotanyi,where people frequently die, killed because of their beliefs, and we are afraid to speak about it, up to the families of those who have lost their loved ones. The brutality that exists in Rwanda is beyond.@hrw

One day, Rwanda says it’s not in Congo. Another day it’s “Congolese fighting themselves,” then “fighting FDLR,” then “troops can’t withdraw for security.” But the war continues—and Rwandan soldiers keep dying. When our sons die in these wars, who answers to their families?@hrw

“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” — Dr Martin Luther King Jr Rwandans, we must fight injustice and stand for freedom. In a country where the median monthly paid income is only 26,000 RWF, destroying someone’s 70 million RWF investment is not just a loss — it is economic devastation. That amount equals about 224 years of median monthly income. And when that investment was creating jobs and serving the community, the damage does not stop with one person. It falls on workers, families, and every life connected to that project. This is why silence is dangerous. Three days ago they destroyed three rural areas (Rusororo, Kimihurura, and Gahanga) and as I am writing this, they are still sleeping outside and in bushes, including the woman who is pregnant and has a little kid; Today it is DC Clement. Tomorrow it could be you or me. If this can happen to someone known by the public, imagine what is happening to those with no name, no audience, and no protection. “As long as poverty, injustice and gross inequality persist in our world, none of us can truly rest.” — Nelson Mandela Stand up. Speak out. Fight injustice. Defend freedom. Defend the right of Rwandans to build, work, invest, create jobs, and live with dignity. #JusticeForDCClement #FightInjustice #DefendFreedom #Rwanda

On March 27, 2026, the Supreme Court of Rwanda ruled that Article 106 of the Criminal Procedure Code does not contradict the Constitution, dismissing the petition filed by opposition leader @VictoireUmuhoza Ingabire as lacking legal merit. This case was brought forward by Ingabire to challenge the constitutionality of a legal provision that has been used to justify her imprisonment. Her appeal represented not only a personal quest for justice, but also a broader call to uphold constitutional protections and the rule of law in Rwanda. @xtr_africa @ruhumuza @jacksonmukunda @HRF @rifdp @UNHumanRights @EU_Diplomacy

#BREAKING Arsenal Drops Rwanda’s “Visit Rwanda” Sponsorship from 2026–2027 Kit Arsenal FC’s new kit has been unveiled without the “Visit Rwanda” logo, ending a high-profile sponsorship deal backed by the Rwandan government. The partnership, long criticized as part of Rwanda’s international image strategy, saw millions invested in promoting the country through European football. Critics argue that those funds could have been directed toward developing local sports, supporting national teams, and empowering Rwandan talent at home. The move now increases pressure on clubs like PSG and Atlético Madrid, who still maintain similar partnerships with Rwanda.
