@sfchronicle This should include gig workers. Often times Lyft and Uber drivers and delivery people have to work 10-12 hours days or work 7 days a week due to poor wages.

JUST IN: A bill moving through the California legislature is pushing for a four-day work week. AB-2932 would change the definition of a work week from the current 40 hours to 32 hours for companies with more than 500 employees. trib.al/bTlINHM

@Scott_Wiener @Scott_Wiener can you please make @lyft and @uber increase driver pay for both inflation and higher gas prices? They are charging pass@gets more for inflation but they are keeping the money?!

Lots of calls these days to cancel or reduce California’s gas tax. Taking that action will have very little impact on gas prices, which will still be very high. But it will mean far less funding for roads, highways & our struggling public transit systems. It’s a bad idea.
