The #CCP (Chinese Communist Party) is #not China. The CCP tried to stop and #silence me at the UN Human Rights Council while I was delivering an oral statement to the Council on behalf of the German NGO Society for Threatened Peoples. The issue is the CCP's ongoing persecution of #FalunGong and #forced organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience. This is a crime against humanity by the CCP. First of all, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the Vice President of the Human Rights Council, Mr Tareq Md Ariful Islam, for his very encouraging and remarkable support in rejecting the absurd request of the delegation of #Communist China. Finally, I was able to conclude my oral statement by speaking on behalf of the voiceless millions of victims of persecution in China. I am also very grateful to the European Parliament for adopting the EU resolution on the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong, to the President of European Commission, Mrs Ursula von der Leyen @vonderleyen, to the Vice President of European Commission & High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Ms Kaja Kallas @kajakallas, to the former Vice President of European Commission & High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Mr Josep Borrell Fontelles @JosepBorrellF, to the Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr Olaf Scholz @Bundeskanzler, to the German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ms Annalena Baerbock @ABaerbock, in particular to the Ambassador of the European Union to China, H.E. Jorge Toledo Albiñanaand @EUdelChina, to the German Ambassador to China, H.E. Dr. Patricia Hildegard Flor @GerAmbChina, to the Federal Government Commissioner for Religion and Belief, Mr Frank Schwabe @ReligionBund, to the Federal Government Commissioner for Human Rights Policy and Humanitarian Assistance, Ms Luise Amtsberg @DEonHumanRights, and to the German NGO Society for Threatened Peoples (in German: Gesellschaft für die bedrohte Völker) for their various rescue efforts to free my #parents from the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong. My parents (father: Mr #DingYuande; mother: Mrs Ma Ruimei) are tea farmers and good people. My parents have been persecuted by the #CCP for more than 25 years solely because of their belief in the Chinese spiritual practice of #FalunGong. They have done #nothing against Chinese law. Due to the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong by China’s communist regime, our family of three has been separated: My father Mr #DingYuande is being detained in the #Shandong Province Prison without any legal basis, my mother is under surveillance in our village after her release due to the rescue campaigns abroad, and I their only child am living in exile in #Berlin. In Chinese prison my father is subjected to #torture, #brainwashing, forced labour and is at serious risk of #ForcedOrganHarvesting from Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience by the CCP. Despite being the only child in my family, I have not been able to see my parents in person for over 12 years. I haven’t been able to celebrate the #Chinese New Year with them. We haven’t even had an opportunity to share a single meal together or to take a #family photo. In May 2023, my parents were #illegally arrested at home. Especially after my father was illegally sentenced in December 2023, my grandmother was distraught and in tears. She died suddenly on 05 February 2024 at the age of 82 and could not see my father for the last time. As a result, my father was unable to attend her funeral. The #CCP is trying to #silence me because of my public and ongoing advocacy to free my parents and to end the ongoing CCP´s state crimes against all Falun Gong practitioners. I do #not feel safe in Germany and Europe. In response to my appeal to end the ongoing state crimes against Falun Gong practitioners and to free my parents from the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, the European Parliament adopted the landmark EU resolution "The ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China, notably the case of Mr #DingYuande (2024/2504(RSP))" on 18 January 2024 in Strasbourg. In this landmark resolution, the European Parliament calls on the CCP and Communist China to unconditionally and immediately release my father, Mr Ding Yuande, and #all Falun Gong practitioners in China. This is the #first time in the history of the EU that both the European Parliament and the EU have taken rescue actions to free a Chinese #peasant family from the CCP's ongoing state crime. In 2019, the China #Tribunal on Forced Organ Harvesting in London, chaired by Sir Geoffrey Nice QC, who previously led the prosecution of former Yugoslavian President Slobodan Milosevic at the International Criminal Tribunal, concluded that forced organ harvesting had taken place in China for years “on a #significant scale”, with Falun Gong practitioners being the “principal source” of the CCP´s ongoing state crimes. Writing in The Diplomat, Ms Tasnim Nazeer @TasnimNazeer1, an award-winning journalist sanctioned by the CCP for her work to end the CCP's state crimes against Uyghurs, has revealed that the CCP has ordered a new global strategy against Falun Gong. The focus is on launching #disinformation campaigns through social media influencers and Western media and #weaponizing the American legal system to go after companies set up by Falun Gong practitioners. Lawmakers from USA, UK and Sweden have also condemned the new #TransnationalRepression campaign and #espionage activities against Falun Gong.  In November 2024, the #California man John Chen was sentenced to 20 months in prison for a #TransnationalRepression plot targeting Falun Gong practitioners in the #USA. @TheJusticeDept After the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Falun Gong Protection Act on 25 June 2024, several U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives reintroduced the Falun Gong Protection Act on a bipartisan basis in both the U.S. Senate on 3 March 2025 and the House of Representatives on 24 February 2025. Both the aforementioned European Parliament´s resolution of 18 January 2024 and the Falun Gong Protection Act aim to #sanction all perpetrators and entities that have contributed to the persecution of Falun Gong in China and abroad. It is time to #end the CCP´s ongoing state crimes against Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience. Indeed, the very existence of the CCP threatens the #peace and #security of the free world of democratic countries. The CCP is #not China. Chen Yang, once a respected engineer in China, was sentenced to four years in prison simply for practicing Falun Gong. His wife Cao Zhimin was also imprisoned. While detained, Chen endured severe physical and psychological abuse including beatings and sleep deprivation. Wang Guirong, 72, has faced repeated persecution in recent years. On Feb. 5, 2026, she was transferred to Shandong Province Women’s Prison following arrest in September, 2025. Prior, her home was raided by police in February 2023 and she lived away from home, not even daring to return for significant family occasions, including her son’s wedding and the birth of her grandchild.
