The token layer works. The data layer underneath it doesn't. RWA protocols have built real infrastructure - $27B+ in on-chain tokenized assets confirms it. But the data connecting each token to the real-world asset still runs through oracle networks and attestation providers. You're trusting the network, not the data itself. That's the gap institutional counterparties keep pointing at. → Verifiable data for tokenized assets: zkdatabase.org

DeFi rebuilt every layer of finance except one: the trust infrastructure underneath the data. The application layer works - smart contracts, tokenization, liquidity provision. But when an institution asks "how do I know the data feeding this contract is correct?" the answer is still "trust the oracle network." That's a distributed form of trust - but it's still trust, not proof. The missing layer is verifiable data - cryptographic proof that the input data is what it claims to be, before the contract executes on it. → Verifiable data for institutional DeFi: zkdatabase.org

When I visited Nigeria, the government responded swiftly to quell a coup in Benin. Nigeria’s willingness to step in to stop a violent attack in another country, while they stand by as their own Christian citizens are brutalized makes these absolutely horrific scenes unfolding in Plateau State all the more unconscionable. Christians — who were gathered for a mass burial for those killed in a previous attack — were viciously murdered by radical Islamic terrorists. The Nigerian Government could root out the terrorism and stop the martyrdom of its own citizens. But, despite receiving early warnings of impending attacks, they are nowhere to be found as Christians are murdered for their faith, like lambs led to slaughter. Enough is enough. I am grateful the Trump Administration specifically identified protecting Christians in Nigeria in the administration’s new Counterterrorism Strategy. Now, I am asking the Trump Administration to take forceful action to defend our innocent brothers and sisters in Christ in the Middle Belt of Nigeria, the epicenter of an ongoing Christian genocide.
J. C. Okechukwu@jcokechukwu

🚨 THIS IS AN EMERGENCY: THE SECURITY SITUATION IN PLATEAU HAS WORSENED This was supposed to be a mass burial for Christians massacred by the terrorists on the night of Tuesday, in Plateau state. While victims' families and community were mourning their loss, getting ready to bid them farewell forever, same terrorists struck again at the burial ground. After seeing what Mali did to over 12,000 terrorists who invaded their country in the last few weeks, i don't think anyone will argue with me again when i say that Nigeria is most definitely not interested in defeating these terrorists. They're more interested in pampering and pardoning them. Nigerian Christians need help and they need it now. @RepRileyMoore @TomColeOK04 @RepFranklin @WhiteHouse @HouseForeignGOP @HouseForeign @SFRCdems @SecRubio @StateDept @AsstSecStateAF @SenateForeign @NGRPresident @HouseNGR @NGRSenate @CNNAfrica

State-of-the-art folding and accumulation schemes focus on improving the universality and efficiency of IVC Schemes. Unfortunately, both approaches satisfy only heuristic security as they model the Random Oracle (RO) as a circuit. We revisit this problem, with a focus on the Folding-based IVCs, and propose the detachment of RO invocation from the folding circuit by introducing a new notion called Conditional Folding (CF) Scheme. We provide a non-trivial generic construction for our CF scheme that is natively parallelizable. We rigorously prove the security of our CF scheme. It can be adapted to construct Parallelizable Scalable Transparent Arguments of Knowledge for RAM Programs (RAMenPaSTA) which can be used to build zero-knowledge virtual machines (zkVMs). Check it out and we are more than welcome to have your thought on it👇: eprint.iacr.org/2024/336

Tokenized gold has crossed $7.6B in market cap, one of the fastest-growing RWA categories. Behind that number: custodian vaults, regular third-party attestations (often monthly), and public supply ledgers. The transparency infrastructure is real. But an attestation tells you what was in the vault on inspection day. 🧵

Yesterday, we took a bold and decisive step by formally joining the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). At the residence of Senator Seriake Dickson in Abuja, I announced that our decision stems from a deep commitment to democratic values. We are determined to provide our people with a credible platform where they can thrive and realise their full potential. I therefore call on all our dedicated supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to join the NDC and stand with us in this renewed fight for good governance and true democracy. - RMK

TO @PeterObi: You did the right thing this morning. Walking out of the ADC took courage. It also took clarity. You named what most Nigerians have been afraid to name — that the same state and its agents that captured Labour Party in 2023 captured the ADC in 2026. Same machine. Different jersey. That is the truth. And you said it out loud. For that, you deserve commendation. Not endorsement — commendation. Because you took a step in the right direction, and steps in the right direction are rare in Nigerian politics. Now keep going. Let APC and ADC split the Caliphate vote between themselves. Let the men who built this cage fight over who gets to sit on the throne. They have the same owners. They will end with the same outcome. You have a different road open to you now. The road of the people. Millions of displaced Nigerians have no voice. Give them one. Make sure they have a vote. Millions are crying for self-determination. Give them a real pathway. Put it on the ballot. Call for a new constitution. Not an amendment. A new one — written by the people, ratified by the people. The 1999 document is a colonial contraption that mentions Sharia 165 times and Christianity zero. It is the scaffolding the Caliphate stands on. Tear it down. Call for a free 2027 election under international supervision. Not INEC. Not the agents who hounded you out of two parties. The world. Do not compromise. The world is watching. Be the champion Nigerians need to end this 66-year nightmare. Sir, you have left the machine. Now join the people and help dismantle it. #EarthShaker

"The condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria, informed my decision to leave ADC for NDC." Yesterday, I formally joined the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), alongside my dear brother, Engr. Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, with one clear purpose: to continue the struggle for a new Nigeria built on justice, competence, accountability, and compassion for the ordinary Nigerian. As I stated yesterday, this decision was not made out of anger, personal ambition, or convenience. It came after deep reflection on the present condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria from the dangerous path it is currently heading. Over the years, I have remained steadfast in my conviction that politics should never be about individuals, positions, or personal gain. It must be about the people, especially the millions of Nigerians who today can no longer afford necessities, whose businesses are collapsing, whose children are losing hope, and whose future is becoming increasingly uncertain. I left the ADC for the same reason I left the Labour Party: the severe, orchestrated litigation and internal crises deliberately designed to ensure that I, alongside many other notable individuals, do not effectively participate in the electoral process. I sincerely appreciate and remain deeply grateful to the Leadership of ADC for the opportunity to work together in pursuit of a better Nigeria. I am particularly grateful to ADC Chairman Senator David Mark for his exceptional Leadership. I also deeply appreciate my Leader and elder brother YE, Atiku Abubakar, as well as other respected leaders within the party. As we join the NDC, I sincerely appeal to the Nigerian Government against the encouragement of unresolved litigations and the infusion of crises within political parties. Democracy must never become a weapon against the people. A healthy democracy thrives on strong institutions, credible alternatives, and the freedom of citizens to make choices without intimidation, manipulation, or fear. Opposition parties must not be weakened or destroyed, because when democracy loses balance, the people ultimately suffer. Nigeria today is passing through one of the most difficult periods in its history. Poverty is rising. Hunger is widespread. Insecurity continues to threaten lives and livelihoods. Businesses are shutting down daily. Our young people are becoming discouraged, and many citizens have lost faith in the system. At a time like this, leadership must be driven not by propaganda or division, but by competence, capacity, character, and compassion. Our decision to join the NDC is therefore not an abandonment of values, but a continuation of the same mission we have always stood for: building a Nigeria where leadership is about service, where public resources are managed responsibly, where institutions function independently, and where every Nigerian, regardless of tribe, religion, region, or social status, can live with dignity, security, and hope. I remain committed to working with all Nigerians of goodwill across political, ethnic, and religious lines. The task before us is bigger than any individual or political party. It is about the future of our children and the survival of our dear nation. I thank Nigerians, especially our youths and women, for remaining peaceful, resilient, and hopeful despite the enormous challenges confronting the country. I urge you not to lose faith in Nigeria. Nations do not change because people surrender to hopelessness; they change because people continue to believe, continue to sacrifice, and continue to stand for what is right. A new Nigeria is still POssible. -PO

EFCC's Troubling Revelation on Our Students. The worrisome statement by the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that 6 out of every 10 Nigerian university students are involved in “419” is deeply troubling and must not be taken lightly. Nigeria already has a very limited number of students in higher institutions, estimated at 2 to 2.5 million. If indeed about 60% of them, roughly 1.4 million young people, are involved in fraud, then we are not just facing a crime issue; we are confronting a serious moral and systemic failure. The question we must ask ourselves is: what has brought us to this level? Who are the role models these students are looking up to?. What values are they learning from society? We must understand that young people become what they consistently see. When a system appears to reward wrongdoing, when integrity is not upheld, and when those in leadership are associated with allegations of forgery and dishonesty without consequence, it sends a dangerous message. It suggests that hard work does not matter, and that results, by any means, are acceptable. These points clearly point to a collapse of moral values. As Socrates rightly said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” Nigeria must now examine itself. This is not about condemning our young people. It is about accepting that leadership sets the tone. If we do not demonstrate integrity at the top, we cannot expect it at the bottom. We must urgently rebuild our value system, enforce accountability without bias, and create an environment where honesty, hard work, and discipline are rewarded. That is the only sustainable path to securing the future of our nation. A new Nigeria is POssible! -PO
