Thanks to @BMTC_BENGALURU A brand new metro feeder bus MF22E thats more than a metro feeder, just arrived in an area starved for buses. Citizens have been demanding for bus services in the area for quite some time. Please share with your friends on Haraluru Road and Sarjapura Road and HSR . This feeder has potential to reduce congestion and pollution and make it easier for commuters to switch from car to public transport. @DKShivakumar @MALimbavali Can we know the reason for the delay in road work from Doddakannelli - Chikkanayakanahalli, this road was done with pooja in the month of August but till date we didn’t see any work starting. If Govt is not able to do the road then so we residents plan to make the road by ourselves? If yes then please give permission and also a letter stating we will be exempted from property tax. As per my RTI this road work is carried under MLA Grants, but no update on the work and contractor details. #ChikkanayakanahalliRoad #NodevelopmentNoTax #ourtaxourright

BDA (Bengaluru Development Authority) @BDAOfficialGok allocates 755 sites in 15 mins! Yes. The Chairman of BDA @mlanaharis solved a 20-year-old problem of giving alternate sites to the allottees of Arakavathi layout in 15 minutes, through a computerised randomisation process. What's more, the process was telecast live on YouTube! Many of these allottees were running from pillar to post since 2005-06 to get an alternate site in NPKL in place of the site they lost in Arakavathi. Now, all 755 of them no longer need to meet or ask anyone. The list is published on the website. They need to get the Sale Deed done immediately. Thanks to the clear directions from Hon'ble Deputy CM @DKShivakumar to make BDA transparent, accountable and citizen-friendly, a slew of measures have been taken up in BDA. The above is one among those. Expecting more citizen-friendly and transparent measures in the coming days. @CMofKarnataka @MoHUA_India @ashwinmahesh

If this is official, it means Bengaluru will soon have 143 more wards than what we have currently (225) 143 more wards 143 new elected representatives - councillors 143 new ward offices 143 new ward engineers, sanitation inspectors 143 more ward committees 2002 (143*14) new ward committee members for a total of 5152 (368*14) citizens as ward committee members. 368 Wards in a City of ~1.2 Crore population translates to about 32,000 citizens per ward (as opposed to nearly 50,000-1,00,000 earlier) Smaller wards + Bigger ward committees is a good equation for increased political accountability and deeper citizen participation. but.. beat my Pothole Patrol high score Varthur Road is something else. it's actually shorter than Sarjapur Road, yet has more potholes. can't imagine this being my daily commute, would require nerves of steel and surplus sanity which road should I patrol next?
