The Nestoil-Neconde vs First Bank Debt Saga: A Classic Nigerian Big-Boy Wahala Explained In the high-stakes world of Nigerian oil, banking, and elite power, few stories capture the drama quite like the ongoing battle between Nestoil/Neconde Energy and the First Bank-led lending consortium. When Kene Okonkwo (daughter of Nestoil/Neconde promoter Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi, also known as Obi Jackson) took to Instagram to celebrate a Supreme Court victory while shading a rival’s “bicycle rides abroad and paid publicity,” Nigerians instantly connected the dots. This isn’t just another court case, it’s a window into how big money, massive debts, aggressive enforcement, and personal legacies collide in Nigeria’s economy. Here’s a clear, no-jargon breakdown for every learned Nigerian who wants to understand what’s really at stake. The Players • The Borrowers: Nestoil Limited (oil services and engineering) and Neconde Energy Limited (upstream oil producer with interests in OML 42, a joint venture with NNPC). Promoters include the Azudialu-Obiejesi family. These are serious indigenous players in the oil sector who grew through contracts, asset acquisition, and financing.

President Trump has made clear that his administration will take action to counter cybercrime, fraud, and predatory schemes against Americans. Today I am announcing a new policy that will restrict visas to foreign nationals responsible for or complicit in cybercrime and cyber-enabled crimes that have devastated American families and children. By going after these individuals, our message is clear: The United States will go after those who prey on our citizens. state.gov/releases/offic…

This is Dr. Von Batten. Yesterday evening, I was informed by a journalist I respect that he had been told Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@officialABAT) released a more than two-week-old letter from President @realDonaldTrump in response to our lobbying efforts here in Washington, D.C. I was also informed by a different source that no actual letter was sent and that President Tinubu's team forgot to change the date from July 6 to July 22 in the released quotations. We are still working to verify this particular claim, but it appears President #Tinubu's apparent objective was to make it seem that the alleged letter from President @realDonaldTrump to him was sent after we briefed the White House on Tinubu's alleged heroin trafficking link. In reality, the alleged letter is dated weeks before our White House briefing. Stand by for updates. This morning, I personally briefed key members of the White House regarding President Tinubu's apparent attempt to insinuate that President #Trump condones President Tinubu's alleged drug trafficking link. A member of my team will also be meeting with @SenTedCruz's staff this morning to provide a briefing on these latest developments. @realDonaldTrump @SusieWiles47 @WhiteHouse @HouseForeignGOP @HouseForeign @SFRCdems @SecRubio @StateDept @AsstSecStateAF @SenateForeign @NGRPresident @HouseNGR @NGRSenate @CNNAfrica @BBCAfrica @Reuters @Atiku @officialABAT @AFP @ForeignPolicy @inecnigeria @SenTedCruz @RepBrianMast

Nigeria has lost some of her finest military officers to the guns of Boko Haram. Officers trained with tax payers money. After watching this video clip, the question that will forever remain on the lips of Nigerians is, should we continue to pardon Boko Haram terro▪︎▪rists?

A Humble Prayer Request from the Mission Field Dear beloved brethren in Christ, If you are reading this message today, I ask you with all my heart to pause for just a moment and whisper a prayer for me, my team, and every missionary and evangelist who is tirelessly proclaiming the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, especially here in Northern Nigeria. Every day we walk into villages where fear has become a way of life. We have comforted widows whose husbands were murdered for their faith, prayed with children who have become orphans overnight, and stood beside believers who have lost everything except their hope in Christ. Many times we travel knowing that we may not return home. Yet we continue, because the love of Christ compels us. There are nights when the sound of gunfire echoes through our communities, and there are days when the burden feels almost too heavy to carry. But in those moments, we remember the words of our Lord: > "I will never leave you nor forsake you." — Hebrews 13:5 That promise gives us the strength to keep going. Please pray that the Lord will surround us with His divine protection, fill us with unwavering courage, and grant us His grace and mercy as we continue to preach His Gospel. Pray that every missionary on the frontlines will remain faithful, joyful, and steadfast, no matter the cost. The enemies of the Gospel may try to silence us through persecution, violence, and intimidation, but they cannot stop the work of God. As the Apostle Paul declared: > "The word of God is not bound." — 2 Timothy 2:9 By His grace, we will continue to carry the Good News to the ends of the earth until every heart has the opportunity to hear the saving name of Jesus Christ. Please do not forget us in your prayers. Your prayers strengthen weary hands, encourage discouraged hearts, and remind us that we are not standing alone. May the Lord bless you abundantly for remembering those who serve on the mission field. In Christ alone, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo
