Just Foreign Policy was proud to join with dozens of anti-war/human rights groups to say: 🔹NO "plan" or “objectives" could justify this war 🔹ZERO funding or ground troops 🔹PROSECUTE US officials for any war crimes 🔹FORCE the @RepJoshG & @HouseForeign War Powers votes NOW

40 pro-diplomacy groups are calling on Congress to force immediate war powers votes on the Iran war. They warn that officials issuing unlawful orders – like Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth – could face criminal liability for war crimes.  Groups include @NIACouncil @PeaceAction @QuincyInst @demandprogress @justfp and many more

"I would love for the President to have an off-ramp here" "My interest is in the country, not in scoring political points. There are plenty of other things to argue with him [over]" "What I don't want is for this war to continue" Sincere anti-war sentiment from @RoKhanna
Just Foreign Policy@justfp

Rather than a clear objection to funding this illegal and immoral war in any form, these talking points continue to leave open the possibility Democrats could support it, if only there was an acceptable “plan.” @adamjohnsonCHI of @CitationsPod in @theintercept

Trump and Rubio are to blame for any refugees crisis from Cuba, as the US intentionally harms civilians with an oil blockade US sanctions & meddling in Latin America have always been a leading cause of migrant flows The American people oppose these cruel and senseless policies

Our tax dollars are paying for bombs dropped on civilians from Gaza to Iran to Lebanon, and we're supposed to just sit back and watch full homes blown up on social media. It's sickening. No more weapons to Israel or bombs sent abroad, period.

An Israeli airstrike struck an apartment building in central Beirut, on Wednesday. The Israeli army had warned residents to evacuate about an hour before completely flattening it as day broke.

At least 13 US service members have already died in Iran—including Captain Seth Koval, a husband and dad from Indiana. I pressed Trump administration officials to justify this war. When the lives of our brave service members are at risk, the American people deserve answers.

Demanding $200B for an unauthorized war in Iran while families struggle to pay rent is an insult to every taxpayer. Congress hasn't approved this, and we have no business there. We should be spending this money on the American people, not more death and destruction overseas.
Acyn@Acyn

Hegseth: As far as the $200 billion. I think that number could move. Obviously, it takes it takes money to kill bad guys.

@SenSanders Thank you @SenSanders for your leadership! We have to end these illegal Netanyahu-Trump endless wars that are killing so many innocent civilians and destroying the global economy, in violation of the US Constitution and War Powers Act. x.com/justfp/status/…
Just Foreign Policy@justfp

ALL @SenateDems MUST vote with @SenSanders! “Given the horrific destruction that Israel’s extremist government has wrought on Gaza, Iran and Lebanon, the last thing in the world that American taxpayers need to do right now is to provide 22,000 new bombs to the Netanyahu govt."
